About the Role

The role of a Sales Development Representative Manager is to develop and manage a team of Sales Development Representatives (SDRs) as they reach out to customers to help guide them through the life insurance buying process. Your team will be responsible for providing a world-class customer experience by ensuring transparency in an industry that’s generally overly complicated, ambiguous and slow to adapt.

You will be responsible for leading a team of 5-10+ SDRs who will reach out to customers that begin an application on our site, assist customers with their application, and use the US team of licensed agents to close the deal. We’re looking for an experienced sales manager with exceptional communication skills, a strong passion for helping others, and a drive to improve and get better each day.

Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Lead a team of 5-10+ Sales Development Representatives, responsible for ensuring team hits and exceed monthly appointment targets
  • Develop SDR playbook and scripting to maximize customer appointments and positive customer interactions
  • Coach, train, and mentor SDRs to hit and exceed personal sales targets on a daily / weekly / monthly basis
  • Excellent at leading teams through change in a hyper-growth environment. Grow and develop a sales culture with a focus towards a high performance mindset
  • Obsessed about our sales team’s employee satisfaction, leads a team passionate about positivity and continual improvement, is not afraid to set big goals, and has the leadership skills to align focus to achieve them
  • Partner with colleagues in sales, marketing, customer experience, and product in order to execute team and company goals
  • Ability to create and foster a dynamic and growth oriented team environment

Qualifications and Skills:

  • Minimum of 2 years with telesales leadership experience
  • Minimum of 4 years in the telesales industry
  • Requires to work out of Ethos Bangalore office, during US shift hours
  • Fluent in English, both written and verbal
  • Consistent track record in meeting and exceeding sales goals
  • Ability to lead through ambiguity and in an ever-evolving, fast-paced environment
  • Excel at coaching sales teams on handling a complex sales process that may include multiple decision makers and influencers
  • Strong working knowledge of CRM software – preferably Salesforce
