Meta is seeking a results-driven Partner Manager to drive relationships with sports leagues, college sports, teams and federations within the US. This role is expected to work collaboratively with other Meta teams while developing distinct executive relationships with major sports organizations to enhance their presence and engagement on Meta platforms.

Strategic Partner Manager – Leagues, Teams & College Athletics Responsibilities:

  • Liaise with internal and external stakeholders to develop and execute a long-term strategy for engaging with US sports leagues and federations on Meta platforms.
  • Act as the primary point of contact for a portfolio of sports partners, managing relationships and addressing any escalations or internal reviews.
  • Serve as the internal advocate for partners, coordinating across Meta's Business Development teams, sourcing opportunities, and managing internal communications with other partnerships teams.
  • Collaborate with Analytics to track, analyze, and communicate key metrics and business trends relevant to partner relationships, ensuring that partnerships deliver value.
  • Maintain direct and active relationships with partners, proactively resolving business, technical, and policy issues, and serving as an internal advocate.
  • Work cross-functionally with product, engineering, business development, policy, legal, marketing, and PR to launch and promote Meta products and solutions tailored for sports leagues and federations.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • BA/BS degree
  • 4+ years of experience in partnerships, sports, media, consulting, business development, or account management.
  • Proven track record collaborating across functional disciplines
  • Experience with or understanding of digital platforms and social media engagement.
  • Proven experience leading teams in a fast-paced, rapidly changing environment

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Experience engaging in executive-level strategic conversations with sports organizations and key stakeholders
  • MBA

$105,000/year to $152,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
