Job Description: Meta - Video Producer/Editor

Meta is seeking a talented Video Producer/Editor to join their XR People team! There’s a need to tell the visual story of XR People to market the capabilities to cross-functional partners, gain a holistic view of the state of technology development, and gain internal alignment on how we’re progressing. The company aims to develop high-quality videos to generate easily digestible and memorable visuals that exhibit our XRP Platform. The main function of the video producer/editor is to shoot and edit final video segments and to work closely with the design team.

• Oversee video production and editing of AR/VR visualizations, AI video generation, with an emphasis on storytelling and skilled cinematography for internal marketing;
• Market the work for XR Tech, Codec Avatars and 3d genAI within the company
• Establish connections and collect assets regularly from across XRT pillars Provide guidance on how to create engaging and viral videos
• Help our videos to stand out over the large amount of “noise” in workplace Report to XR Experiences Team but provide service to the whole XR Tech org
• Use Adobe Aftereffects to showcase vision for all XRP workstreams, especially AR Sharing capabilities (IG Reels and AR VFX) to help scale visualization [Optional]
• Provide support in creating storyboards and other marketing materials.

Skills & Experience:

• Highly proficient at Adobe After Effects or equivalent Video editing experience - Adobe Premiere, DaVinci or equivalent
• Comfortable shooting with both DSLR and mobile phone cameras
• Experience in marketing and creating viral Short Form Video videos on IG, Youtube, or other social media platforms.
• Recording voiceovers, AI voice generation, and comfortable presenting in front of camera
• Experience in AI video production tools Previz and Conceptual development
• Experience working independently to deliver work in a timely manner with minimal supervision.
• Color grading and finishing.

Preferred experience:

• Familiarity with capturing headset footage for ARVR products
• Familiarity with Unity, camera settings, post processing techniques
• Awareness of 3D graphics and CG workflows
• Experience with IG Reels and Social Media “short form video” capabilities and AR effects
• Experience in developing other marketing material: storyboarding, graphic design, layout
