Meta is seeking a Director of Finance, Finance Operations and AI Enablement to lead the transformation of our FP&A processes, systems, and tooling—placing AI technologies at the center of our strategy. In this role, you will be a strategic leader and hands-on operator, driving innovation and identifying opportunities for process automation and workflow optimization within finance operations in order to streamline tasks, improve efficiency, and reduce manual effort. You will partner with cross-functional stakeholders to address any pain points and deliver impactful solutions. You will help shape the team’s data architecture and tooling strategy. Successful candidates for this position will have strong knowledge of AI technologies, financial processes and systems, have a bias toward action, and the ability to balance getting the details right while still moving fast. You will gain invaluable experience in a position that offers significant responsibility and interaction with senior finance and cross-functional partners as well as considerable opportunity to have a large impact within a data driven Finance organization. Director of Finance, Finance Operations and AI Enablement Responsibilities:

  • Partner with Finance and Engineering leadership to identify and deliver innovative AI-first solutions for Meta’s FP&A processes, systems & tooling and data architecture.
  • Collaborate with business partners to understand their needs and develop and implement tangible solutions to address them.
  • Identify improvement & efficiency opportunities and drive alignment & roadmaps for key planning responsibilities.
  • Conduct complex data analysis on financial data to derive actionable insights that inform business strategy and decision-making.
  • Manage large-scale finance transformation projects (e.g. Oracle, and AI tools).
  • Help define and implement scalable financial processes related to month-end and quarter-end close, budget management, forecasting, and reporting.

Minimum Qualifications:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Finance, Economics, Computer Science with Finance background, or a related field
  • 12+ years of relevant experience in Finance organizations with demonstrated successful change management leveraging new technologies at scale
  • Effective communication with a wide range of cross functional and internal audiences, with experience distilling complex concepts and analysis into concise actionable conclusions
  • Attention to detail with an understanding of the big picture - experience creating a vision and ability to influence others to align to that vision
  • Demonstrated expertise in financial systems and processes

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Detailed understanding and experience of leveraging AI to transform financial processes and key FP&A deliverables
  • Demonstrated experience with communicating and collaborating with executives both within Finance and with key stakeholders
  • Led or been a key partner in Finance Transformation projects at scale

$219,000/year to $288,000/year + bonus + equity + benefits

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
