Meta Reality Labs is looking for an exceptional individual to take on the role of Partner Enablement Manager for Japan retail. Reporting to the APAC Retail Sales Channel Director, this experienced executive will be responsible for and oversee marketing operations including budgets, experiential programs, customer acquisition and retention, and measurement while continually improving our toolset and processes to meet our goals. This exciting and crucial role will be responsible for driving and delivering our go-to-channel strategy with Japan retail partners such as Amazon, Yamada Denki, Bic Camera, Yodobashi, Edion.The candidate should possess advanced analytical skills and the ability to communicate and collaborate effectively across internal cross-functional partners - including Sales, Marketing, and Sales Operations. The position entails establishing and strengthening relationships with Meta 3P Retail partners in the Japan market to drive the Meta AI Glasses and VR Metaverse hardware vision.The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, driven to make Meta “our retail partner’s best partner", and thrive in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.This role will be located in our Tokyo offices.

Partner Enablement Manager | Meta Reality Labs Japan Responsibilities:
- Developing, building and executing marketing programs in partnership with internal Partner Enablement, Channel Services, Retail Creative and Marketing counterparts in order to achieve business goals
- Leading, applying and executing Meta RL Partner Enablement strategy directly with retail partners within agreed-upon budgets and key performance indicators
- Providing oversight and management of channel co-marketing and OPEX budget, focusing on performance and delivering against agreed upon metrics
- Coordinating and managing marketing brand assets and deliver on time to creative teams, while following-up and delivering to retail partners
- Taking a broad perspective while examining campaigns and projects
- assessing problems & making decisions based on relevant information, including identifying and spotting less obvious solutions- creatively
- Influencing key business decisions and outcomes within cross-functional and organizational settings
- Managing, measuring and optimizing marketing programs that drive results and improve efficiency
- Providing point-of-contact for Meta RL Marketing in relation to accounts managed
- Completing and examining campaigns and projects
- assessing problems and making decisions based on relevant information - including new or less-obvious solutions
- Providing active input during Partner Enablement goal creation process
- Influencing retail Partner Enablement team and accounts they support
- Building and maintaining collaborative and productive relationships while networking internally and externally with retailer marketing counterparts
- 5-7 years experience in a Retail leadership Partner Enablement or Channel Marketing type roles. Candidates should have a demonstrable record of achievement and success with a top tier consumer technology brand
- 5-7 years experience in building go-to-market strategy, planning and execution across online and traditional retail channels while managing large Partner Enablement budgets
- 5-7 years experience working directly with online retail partners with demonstrable knowledge of key advertising metrics and programs. CPC (Cost per Conversion), CPA (Cost per Acquisition), iCAC (Incremental Customer Acquisition Cost) and ROAS (Return on Advertising Spend) as examples
- 5-7 years experience working directly with Japan retailers selling consumer electronics products
- Demonstrable experience developing and executing digital currency programs and initiatives with a leading technology brand
- Experience with working with visual merchandising and field services programs
- Demonstrable, advanced presentation skills required
- Bachelor’s degree in Business, Marketing, or Economics
- MBA/MiM
- Experience planning and managing cross-functional partner events with retailers
- Experience with a challenger/new business technology that may have changed the way people connect, work and socialize
