We deliver these results by activating local experiences at a global scale, leveraging our expertise across business, consumer, and creator audiences. We have an exciting opportunity to lead the Business Marketing team for the Greater China Region (GCR). We’re seeking a leader who is a tenured marketing executive, an independent & culturally-aware leader for this diverse region, who can inspire the team to do their best work. You will harness your experience, perspective and capabilities - in close partnership with key stakeholders such as Sales, Communications, Policy, Product, Creative and Media - to deliver exceptional business results. In this role, you will work as part of the overall IM APAC team, in close collaboration with XFN partners, peers and teams in EMEA and Latam, and global Business Marketing partners to advance IM’s long term goals.

Business Marketing Director, Greater China Responsibilities:

  • Lead the development of marketing strategies and plans that unlock growth opportunities for Meta’s business solutions in GCR
  • Represent GCR in global workstreams, advocating for regional needs and driving key strategies on behalf of the region and the company
  • Drive roadmap development and lead the execution against goals across business marketing in the region, always focusing on the biggest opportunities
  • Develop strong relationships with key stakeholders while independently representing the marketing perspective, acting as a valued partner
  • Build, lead, and develop a high-performing team. Foster a culture of innovation, continuous improvement, and accountability
  • Serve as a marketing thought leader externally, and internally across the marketing teams at Meta. Model and inspire a founder mindset
  • Manage budgets and resources to maximize impact and efficiency e.g. Opex, Headcount
  • Drive operational excellence by fostering the adoption of AI in all we do, driving productivity gains, simplifying processes and removing barriers, enabling teams to move fast

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 15+ years experience in a marketing leadership role
  • Proven track record of leading successful cross-functional programs and teams
  • Proven experience in the GCR region, evidencing understanding of local market dynamics and cross-border opportunities
  • Demonstrated ability to set direction, build plans, and coach teams for success
  • Demonstrated creativity, analytical rigor, and marketing expertise
  • People management experience shaped by promoting inclusion and encouraging varied perspectives across the team

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Professional working proficiency in English and Mandarin as this role will engage with stakeholders whose usual business language is English and/or Mandarin
  • B2B experience within a highly matrixed, global organization
