Research Program Manager, Facebook Responsibilities:
- Map and audit UXR processes end-to-end across the Facebook pillar to identify areas of inefficiency, duplication, and overlap — building a clear picture of where time is lost and where streamlining will have the highest return
- Develop a unified rolling research strategy across 5+ continuous programs, and introduce an automated triage and intake process that routes incoming projects to the right program, method, and resource — reducing the time researchers spend figuring out where to start
- Identify participant engagement gaps across all recruitment tactics — HIVE, Participant Engagements, third-party panels, list pulls reliant on data science partners — with the goal of reducing time-to-recruit and eliminating the bottlenecks that delay studies before fieldwork even begins
- Drive adoption of AI-enabled tools as GRO's roadmap delivers them — translating platform capabilities into practical workflow changes, running pilots with Facebook research teams, and iterating based on feedback
- Own the monitoring of survey pool utilization, routing approvals, enforcing governance thresholds, and proactively managing capacity so that studies don't get delayed due to budget constraints
- Coordinate across Facebook's research teams to balance survey pool usage, flag over-utilization before it becomes a blocker, and implement process improvements (vendor augmentation, approval workflow changes) that prevent recurring bottlenecks
- Keep workflows and documentation evergreen while querying tactical survey implementation needs
- 7+ years of experience in research operations, program management, or a related field within a technology or insights organization
- Experience diagnosing and fixing operational process issues — identifying bottlenecks, redesigning workflows, and measuring improvement
- Experience managing budgets or resource allocation programs with competing demand across multiple teams
- Analytical skills with experience in operational reporting and data-driven decision making
- Experience working directly with UX research, market research, or product research teams
- Fluent in using AI tools and workflows to drive productivity, project management, and cross-functional collaboration
- Understands how AI is reshaping business problems, products, and processes—can identify opportunities to leverage AI for business impact and operational efficiency
- Experience with participant management platforms and panel operations (Rally, Alida, Qualtrics, or similar)
- Hands-on experience applying AI/ML tools to automate or accelerate operational workflows
- Experience managing rolling or continuous research programs
- Background in vendor management and cost optimization within a research or insights context
- Experience operating in a matrixed organization where you partner with centralized functions but are embedded in a specific business unit
- Understanding of research governance, data privacy, and regulatory compliance in a research context
