Meta is looking for a hardworking, proactive strategic account manager to drive revenue growth within retail partners accounts in an exciting, fast-paced environment. The position will involve building and leveraging high-value retail relationships in the Korea retail market supporting the Meta hardware products vision. This person will be charged with developing and executing a comprehensive sales strategy at the customer level as a subset of the overall organizational vision.The strategic account manager is responsible for delivering revenue and exceeding sales targets through partner selling activities while also driving partner enablement and go-to-channel marketing initiatives with Korean retail partners (Electromart, Lotte Himart, SSG.Com,..)The candidate should possess solid analytical skills and the capacity to communicate and collaborate effectively across internal cross-functional partners — including Category Management, Product Management, Business Development, Partner Enablement, and Sales Operations. The position entails strengthening and expanding relationships with Meta's existing 3P Retail partners in the Korean market to accelerate the Meta Reality Labs hardware vision across VR and AI Wearables categories.The ideal candidate should be customer-focused, driven to make Meta "our retail partner's best partner", and thrive in a fast-paced and team-oriented environment.

South-Korea Strategic Account Manager Responsibilities:
- Developing and executing category strategies and tactics for Meta RL products (VR and AI Wearables across Korean retail accounts to achieve business objectives
- Managing account day-to-day activities and developing Annual Strategy rolled up into the APAC regional strategy
- Negotiating and presenting annual account programs and contracts, gaining internal alignment and approvals with cross-functional partners (finance, legal, operations, etc.)
- Ensuring forecast accuracy goals are met and identifying risks against internal demand plan to the organization
- Publishing weekly business reporting and sales reviews
- leveraging sales dashboards and data tools to share account insights while identifying trends that require attention
- Providing clear account business context to internal and external stakeholders on KPI progress
- Working closely with Channel Operations to implement the CPFR (Collaborative Planning, Forecasting, and Replenishment) process with retail and distributor partners
- Working directly with Business Analytics teams to review and help drive projects that inform decision-making
- Developing and maintaining category annual plans, Quarterly Business Reviews, Joint Business Plans, and Annual Customer Plans
- Demonstrating value to internal and external partners by sharing expertise on product features, and understanding and communicating differences and advantages of Meta RL products
- Identifying market share ranking at partner level and sharing risks and opportunities with the organization
- Traveling to strategic events and customer meetings as required, including regionally
- Developing, building and executing marketing programs in partnership with internal Partner Enablement, Channel Services, Retail Creative, and Marketing counterparts in order to achieve business goals
- Leading, applying and executing Meta RL Partner Enablement strategy directly with retail partners within agreed-upon budgets and key performance indicators
- Providing oversight and management of channel co-marketing and OPEX budget, focusing on performance and delivering against agreed-upon metrics
- Coordinating and managing marketing brand assets and delivering on time to creative teams, while following up and delivering to retail partners
- Managing, measuring and optimizing marketing programs that drive results and improve efficiency
- Providing point-of-contact for Meta RL Marketing in relation to managed accounts
- Partnering with cross-functional teams to optimize efficiencies within Meta RL's internal strategic frameworks
- Supporting market expansion activities in Korea — evaluating and onboarding new retail partners, developing go-to-market plans for new product launches and categories
- BA/BS in Business, Marketing, or related field (or equivalent experience)
- 7+ years of experience in Sales, Account Management, Business Development, or Partner Enablement with accounts in Consumer Electronics, Mass, or e-Commerce retail channels
- Proven track record in delivery of sales quotas against business plans
- Experience building go-to-market strategy, planning, and execution across online and traditional retail channels
- Experience managing partner marketing or co-marketing budgets with demonstrable knowledge of key advertising metrics (CPC, CPA, ROAS)
- Knowledge of the Korean Consumer Electronics retail market, industry trends, market conditions, and competitive landscape
- Understanding of in-store visual merchandising, stock merchandising, and retail digital marketing strategies
- Ability to read and understand Partner Scorecard Metrics, identifying opportunities to improve where necessary
- Proven negotiation, communication, and presentation skills
- Prior experience negotiating annual partner contracts and agreements
- Native or bilingual Korean and business-fluent English
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
- MBA or advanced degree in Business, Marketing, or Economics
- Global retail experience (outside of South Korea)
- Experience working directly with Consumer Electronics retailers and e-Commerce platforms in South Korea
- Experience with a challenger or new business technology brand that may have changed the way people connect, work, and socialize
- Prior experience working in Gaming, Augmented Reality, Virtual Reality, or AI Wearables space — or rich knowledge of industry trends
- Experience planning and managing cross-functional partner events and product launch activations with retailers
- Experience managing retail partners through distribution channels
- Experience with field sales activities, 3rd party labor staffing, and retail sales associate education programs
