Meta is searching for an experienced Program Manager to join our Supplier Strategy team. This is a pivotal role for a transformation leader who can drive enterprise-wide supplier and sourcing transformation initiatives. As an AI-native company, Meta is looking for someone who can think strategically about how to leverage AI - not just using it for the sake of it, but applying it with intent to drive real, measurable impact across our supplier programs. This role will be responsible for architecting enterprise-wide supplier programs that redefine how Meta manages its global supplier ecosystem. Working at the intersection of Strategic Sourcing, Finance, and Enterprise Products, you will drive the strategy, product roadmap, governance, and metrics for our most critical supplier initiatives. Supplier Strategy Program Manager Responsibilities:
- Architect and deliver the end-to-end strategy for key strategic supplier programmes that directly support the shift toward autonomous, AI-driven buying
- Shape the multi-year strategic vision for key supplier and sourcing programmes- proactively identifying emerging opportunities and risks, developing original strategic recommendations, and translating these into actionable roadmaps with clear milestones
- Lead and land high-impact, multi-layer initiatives involving Strategic Sourcing, Data Science, Engineering, and Procurement Operations to drive the adoption of next-generation supplier tools and processes, delivering measurable adoption and efficiency gains
- Own and drive cross-functional initiatives through ambiguity - making high-judgment calls, seeking input where appropriate, proposing solutions proactively, and keeping momentum even when direction from leadership is limited or unavailable
- Take ownership of multiple, multi-layer cross-functional relationships. Proactively and strategically engage cross-functional stakeholders to drive adoption of Supplier Strategy programs, processes, and tools
- Lead and assist with special projects as needed. Provide strategic direction and thought leadership, move fast, and be accountable for results
- Operate with a high degree of independence - proactively identifying what needs to happen next, bringing forward ideas and recommendations, and maintaining momentum on key initiatives
- Partner with Enterprise Products, Data Science, and Engineering teams to translate business requirements into tool enhancements that align with Strategic Sourcing core business goals
- Drive the evolution of Meta's supplier ecosystem by spearheading cross-functional engagement and change initiatives that bridge organizational silos, while owning the long-term roadmap for process optimization
- Serve as a strategic thought partner to the Supplier Strategy lead - proactively analysing market trends, supplier landscape shifts, and internal data to surface insights and propose new strategic directions for supplier and sourcing programmes
- Deploy advanced data tools and analytical techniques to measure program performance and provide actionable insights for executive decision-making
- Define, track, and report on program success metrics, ensuring clear visibility into ROI and business impact of key supplier strategy initiatives and reporting outcomes to leadership
- B.A. or B.S. degree in business, supply chain, procurement, technology, or equivalent experience
- 8+ years of professional experience in Strategic Sourcing, with exposure to technology-driven transformation or enterprise systems implementation. Experience in Program Management or Procurement Transformation preferred
- High integrity, with a track record of building trust and operating transparently across teams and stakeholders
- Experience with enterprise procurement systems (e.g., SAP Ariba, Coupa) and the implementation of supplier-related technology solutions
- Experience driving end-to-end process improvements and continuous improvement cycles in a global, time-sensitive corporate environment
- Proven track record of navigating complex, fast-changing environments where requirements are fluid. Demonstrated experience of moving projects forward by making high-judgment decisions with incomplete information and building consensus across stakeholders
- Deep experience across strategic sourcing, programme management, and procurement transformation, with the ability to draw on all three disciplines
- Demonstrated ability to develop and execute long-term strategic plans that resulted in measurable business transformation
- Proven communication skills with a demonstrated track record of leading change management efforts and overcoming operational barriers to adoption
- A self-directing work style with evidence of proactively advancing projects, making sound decisions with incomplete information, and bringing forward ideas and proposals without being asked
- Demonstrated experience of actively upskilling, experimenting with new tools and technologies, with a proactive approach to exploring how AI can transform the way we work
- Proven track record of delivering large-scale procurement or supplier transformation programs with quantifiable outcomes (e.g., cost reduction, cycle time improvement, supplier consolidation)
- Demonstrated experience of operating with high autonomy - someone energised by the absence of explicit instruction
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
