The Legal Technology and Innovation team in Meta's Legal department is looking for an experienced Technical Program Manager to own and drive business process and legal technology related projects. The candidate should be comfortable prioritizing and aligning executive requests across competing timelines and deliverables. This person will be responsible for engaging a multitude of stakeholders in and outside of Meta's legal department to formulate and drive the execution of technical solutions to an array of emerging problems. They will collaborate with legal subject matter experts, engineering teams, third party vendors, and cross-functional partners to provide tools and services that will increase efficiency and improve the productivity of users in our Legal department and the business teams they work with. In this role, you will own the delivery and maintenance of solutions you launch and drive continuous process improvements.

Individual compensation is determined by skills, qualifications, experience, and location. Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable. Technical Program Manager, Legal Responsibilities:
- Work with legal stakeholders to review manual operations with an eye towards optimization and automation
- Partner with a team of program managers and cross-functional partners to help consolidate the coordination, tracking and communication of project requirements, priority, milestones and status to key stakeholders
- Build internal customer and stakeholders' relationships to manage expectations and agree on clear goals, objectives, and timelines
- Review new legal requirements and assess potential integration needs for new builds or third-party software
- Build and track project features, milestones and dependencies
- Identify risks and act on them to ensure the team and project are not derailed
- Manage competing priorities and simultaneous projects in a fast-paced environment
- Conduct ongoing communication of team programs and reduce surprises by proactively managing risks
- Build subject matter expertise, stay up to date on technology, and identify key partnerships to help define team road maps
- Switch from program level to task level issues in driving projects to completion
- Work with peers of all levels from front line analysts to high level executives
- Move to MINIMUM_QUALIFICATION or PREFERRED_QUALIFICATIONS, e.g., 'Skilled in project and priority triage, with the ability to work effectively within broad parameters and operate with considerable autonomy.'
- Be curious, creative, attentive to detail, committed to customer service, communicate, and able to forge positive and collaborative working relationships across multiple business units
- B.S. in Computer Science
- 8+ years of experience in technical program management, technology-focused projects, and/or product development
- Experience with software and/or hardware infrastructures
- Experience breaking down process and identifying pain points in order to deliver operational and technical improvements
- Experience communicating with technical and non-technical audience at different levels across multiple business units
- Experience working in technical, metrics driven environments
- Experience in SQL and reporting tools
- Experience multi-tasking and influencing stakeholders in technical program management
- Bachelor's degree in Computer Science or equivalent
- Experience in identifying and leading engagements with internal legal stakeholders as well as external cross-functional work stream leads, stakeholders and engineering partners
- Experience with software development lifecycle, technical execution, implementing new tools and change management for large company-wide programs
- Legal technology experience
- Demonstrated ongoing AI skill development (e.g., prompt/context engineering, agent orchestration) and staying current with emerging AI technologies
- Experience working in a technology-focused environment with evolving priorities
- Experience with software engineering and/or compliance technology projects
- Demonstrated ability to integrate AI tools to optimize/redesign workflows and drive measurable impact (e.g., efficiency gains, quality improvements)
- Experience adhering to and implementing responsible, ethical AI practices (e.g., risk assessment, bias mitigation, quality and accuracy reviews)
