Meta is seeking an experienced and strategic Head of Investor Relations to lead our engagement with the investment community and shape the company's external financial narrative. Reporting to the VP of Finance, this leader will serve as a trusted advisor to executive leadership, helping articulate the company's strategy, performance, and long-term value creation story to investors, analysts, and other key stakeholders.The ideal candidate combines deep financial expertise with effective communication skills, including the ability to convey complex financial concepts to diverse audiences and a demonstrated understanding of capital markets, including experience analyzing market dynamics, investor behavior, and equity valuations. This role will partner closely with the CFO, Finance Leadership Team, Legal, Corporate Communications, and Executive Leadership to drive a comprehensive and effective investor relations program.

Head of Investor Relations Responsibilities:

  • Develop and execute the company's investor relations strategy, ensuring consistent and effective communication with investors and analysts
  • Shape and continuously refine the company's story and investment thesis
  • Serve as a key advisor to senior leadership on investor sentiment, market expectations, and shareholder feedback
  • Build and maintain strong relationships with institutional investors, analysts, and other members of the investment community
  • Lead quarterly earnings preparation, including earnings materials, scripts, Q&A preparation, investor presentations, and executive briefing documents
  • Partner with FP&A, Accounting, and other Finance leaders to ensure clear and accurate communication of financial performance and guidance
  • Coordinate earnings calls, investor meetings, conferences, and analyst engagement activities
  • Develop messaging around strategic initiatives, business performance, and long-term growth opportunities
  • Monitor analyst models, research reports, shareholder activity, valuation trends, and broader market dynamics
  • Track peer performance, investor perceptions, and industry developments to inform communications and strategy
  • Advise senior leaders on external messaging and investor engagement opportunities
  • Lead a lean, high-performing Investor Relations organization, ensuring consistent performance and execution against defined goals
  • Drive the development and adoption of AI-powered capabilities, including a leading-edge Investor Relations assistant, to improve insights, productivity, and stakeholder communications

Minimum Qualifications:

  • 12+ years of experience in Investor Relations, Equity Research, Investment Banking, Corporate Finance, FP&A, or related disciplines
  • Bachelor's degree in Finance, Accounting, Economics, Business, or a related field
  • Deep expertise in public company reporting, financial statements, valuation methodologies, and capital markets, with the ability to translate financial and strategic performance into clear, compelling insights for management and investors
  • Experience presenting to senior executives and engaging directly with investors and analysts
  • Exceptional written, verbal, and executive communication skills
  • Experience leading Investor Relations at a large public technology company
  • Experience analyzing or working with internet, AI, cloud, infrastructure, software, and/or platform business models

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Investor relations work experience within a public fast-growing, consumer-oriented technology company

Compensation details listed in this posting reflect the base hourly rate, monthly rate, or annual salary only, and do not include bonus, equity or sales incentives, if applicable.
