Role Overview:

We are looking for a detail-oriented and proactive Senior Executive – Finance to manage end-to-end accounting operations across Facilio’s 6 global entities, covering Accounts Payable, General Ledger, Book Closure, Taxation, and Statutory Compliance. This role is central to maintaining financial integrity and ensuring Facilio remains fully compliant with applicable regulatory and tax requirements across all entities. With 6 entities across the globe, our finance function plays a critical role in maintaining accuracy, compliance, and financial integrity across all geographies.

Key Responsibilities:

Accounts Payable

  • Process vendor invoices end-to-end — receipt, verification, coding, and posting across all entities
  • Manage vendor master data, execute payment runs (NEFT/RTGS/wire), and track AP ageing
  • Process and reconcile employee expense claims and travel reimbursements
  • Ensure timely deduction and deposit of TDS on vendor payments (194C, 194J, etc.)
  • Resolve vendor queries and invoice disputes while maintaining healthy supplier relationships

General Ledger

  • Maintain and own the general ledger with accurate classification and cost centre coding
  • Post journal entries for accruals, prepayments, depreciation, and provisions
  • Perform monthly balance sheet reconciliations and clear open items across all entities
  • Manage fixed asset register — additions, disposals, and depreciation runs
  • Reconcile intercompany balances and maintain the chart of accounts

Book Closure & Reporting

  • Drive monthly, quarterly, and annual financial close process; own the close checklist
  • Ensure all sub-ledgers (AP, AR, payroll, fixed assets) are reconciled before GL finalisation
  • Prepare trial balance, P&L, and balance sheet schedules for management review
  • Coordinate with statutory and internal auditors; prepare audit schedules and respond to queries
  • Assist in preparation of financial statements under Indian GAAP / Ind AS and applicable local standards

Taxes & Compliances

  • Handle GST compliance — ITC reconciliation (GSTR-2B vs. books), filing GSTR-1, GSTR-3B, and annual returns
  • Manage TDS/TCS computation, deduction, deposit, and quarterly returns (24Q, 26Q); issue Form 16/16A
  • Ensure timely payment and filing of statutory dues — PF, ESI, Professional Tax, LWF and STPI filings.
  • Track relevant tax changes and ensure timely compliances

Cross-functional & Strategic

  • Maintain and improve SOPs for AP, GL, and compliance workflows across all 6 global entities.
  • Provide AP ageing inputs for monthly cash flow forecasting.
  • Support during audits and due diligence.
  • Identify automation opportunities in finance processes and collaborate with the tech team to implement them.

Requirements:

Qualifications & Experience

  • CA Inter – Post Articleship is a must
  • 2+ years of hands-on experience in finance & accounts, preferably in a SaaS or technology company
  • Prior exposure to Indian tax compliance (GST, TDS, Income Tax) and statutory filings

Technical Skills

  • Strong understanding of accounting principles, financial reporting, and Indian GAAP / Ind AS
  • Proficiency in MS Excel (pivot tables, XLOOKUP, reconciliation models)
  • Familiarity with accounting software — Zoho Books, QuickBooks.

Soft Skills

  • Excellent attention to detail and a structured, analytical mindset
  • Strong communication skills in English.
  • Ability to work independently as well as collaboratively in a fast-paced, dynamic environment
  • High level of ownership, reliability, and a proactive approach to problem-solving
