Fever is looking for an Legal Intern to join its Intellectual Property & Media team, based in Madrid. We’re seeking an open-minded, problem-solver who is looking to learn about legal practice in an environment where virtually all our work has cross-border impact.

As a Legal Intern, you will deal with law-related issues, assist and work closely with various departments at Fever. You will have the opportunity to learn real-world, practical legal skills in a structured internship, while helping your team make an impact in the growth of the company.

Fever Legal Interns are valued members of the team, and provide general support to the Legal, GRC, and Policy Team. For this role, you will report to the Lead Counsel IP & Media, learning to handle legal tasks including:

  • Drafting / revising all types of commercial IP related contracts and providing support to other departments in their commercial negotiations.
  • Conducting legal research across a range of practice areas, including to support the team’s work on Fever’s entertainment operations into new markets and service diversification.
  • Updating and administering different types of trackers, from IP enforcement tracker (Case management system), to informative guidelines of different nature (Media/content guidelines; Music Rights Organizations, Relevant laws and regulations per country, etc).
  • Get involved and learn end-to-end the trademark prosecution processes globally and keep up to date Fever’s global trademark portfolio.
  • Advise other team members on your area of expertise
  • Taking responsibility for knowledge and document management.
  • Supporting ongoing compliance functions for the global group.
  • Supporting administrative legal tasks.

ABOUT YOU

  • Looking to learn through experience.
  • An excellent student with an excellent academic record —past exposure to foreign legal systems is a plus.
  • A team player and an effective communicator.
  • Fluent in English — other languages a plus, especially German and French (although we work across many more languages!)
  • Available to immediately start working in Madrid for a period of 6 months, full time (with start / end dates and part-time options, negotiable).
  • Currently enrolled in a postgraduate college degree / masters program of law with a Spanish university or college.
