Senior International Tax Specialist
This person will support Fever’s international tax strategy and compliance framework, ensuring alignment with global regulations and the company’s cross-border operating model. You will report to the International Tax Manager.
Key Responsibilities
- Support the structuring of cross-border operations, ensuring alignment with tax treaties and local regulations while minimizing exposure to double taxation.
- Review and advise on permanent establishment (PE) risks, withholding taxes, and treaty relief applications to optimize international transactions.
- Collaborate with Finance, Legal and Expansion teams on intercompany flows, financing arrangements, and profit repatriation strategies.
- Support Expansion into new countries.
- Monitor global tax developments (OECD, EU, and key markets), assess their business implications, and proactively propose compliance or efficiency measures.
- Support technical international tax projects on an ad-hoc basis.
- Lead the implementation and monitoring of OECD Pillar II and Digital Services Tax (DST) requirements, assessing their impact on Fever’s global footprint.
Qualifications and Requirements:
- Degree in Law, Finance and/or Economics, with a focus on International Taxation.
- Minimum 5+ years of experience in international tax ideally within a multinational group or advisory firm.
- Proven experience with OECD BEPS 2.0 Pillar 2, Digital Services Tax, and international tax treaty application.
- Strong understanding of cross-border structuring, withholding taxes, and PE risk management.
- Demonstrated ability to interpret and apply OECD, EU and domestic tax frameworks across multiple jurisdictions.
- Advanced problem-solving skills with a results-driven, get-things-done attitude.
- Strong multitasking abilities to manage competing priorities.
- Excellent analytical, research and problem-solving skills with strong attention to detail.
- Excellent analytical and communication skills; ability to translate complex tax concepts into business actions.
- Fluent in English, proactive and comfortable in a fast-paced, dynamic environment.
