Responsibilities

• Embed directly with customers to understand their technical needs and translate them into scalable, production-ready solutions
• Design, implement, and maintain flexible backend and frontend systems that work in diverse customer environments
• Build and extend APIs to enable secure, efficient data access across internal systems and customer-facing integrations
• Develop dynamic features and components in React that can be rapidly customized and deployed to meet customer-specific requirements
• Own the full delivery cycle, from scoping customer problems to shipping high-performant solutions with strict SLAs
• Act as the technical bridge between customers and our core engineering and product teams, bringing field insights back to shape the roadmap
• Independently drive impactful engineering initiatives with minimal hand-holding, often in ambiguous or fast-moving environments

Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities

• 3+ years of experience building scalable, reusable solutions in production environments
• Strong experience with Node/Express backend development and API design, development, and documentation
• Proficiency in React, Redux, and server-side rendering with Next.js, including building high-performance, pixel-perfect UIs using Tailwind, Bootstrap, or Material UI
• Comfortable navigating customer environments, debugging, integrating, and extending solutions on-site or remotely
• Self-motivated problem solver with strong instincts for UI/UX improvement and customer empathy
• Experience with Docker and CI/CD pipelines for rapid deployment and iteration
• Excellent communication skills- you can explain complex technical concepts to both engineers and non-technical stakeholders
• Proven ability to own and deliver end-to-end product and engineering initiatives independently
