This is the role where that changes. You will move inside Fortune 500 accounts — banks, insurers, fintechs, healthcare platforms — and own the work from analysis through to execution. Not the deck. The outcome.
WHAT MAKES THIS DIFFERENT
Most roles at this level sit you behind a senior and ask you to support. Here, you are the face in the room. You own the client relationship from week one — the weekly syncs, the monthly strategy reviews, the quarterly ROI conversations. You will have a senior layer to think alongside, but the account is yours. The ramp is steep. That is the point.
WHAT YOU WILL OWN
Diagnose the funnel
Pull the data. Map where users drop off. Form a hypothesis about why. You will not have an analyst to hand this to — you are the analyst. Over time, you will develop a point of view fast enough to take it into a CMO room the same week.
Build the account picture
For every engagement, develop a working model of the business: unit economics, acquisition channels, conversion architecture. Be the person who knows the account best. Spot the things the client has stopped seeing.
Be the face inside every account
You run the weekly performance syncs with growth teams. You present the monthly strategy reviews to CMOs and VP Growth. You run the quarterly ROI conversations with senior stakeholders. These are not update meetings — they are moments where you earn the right to go deeper.
Run the AI execution loop
Coordinate variant generation, review output for quality and brand fit, manage client approvals, and get work live within the sprint. This is where your ability to move fast without cutting corners shows.
Build the expansion case
When the program works, you identify the next surface, the next segment, the next opportunity. Growth within accounts is part of your scorecard.
Feed back into the system
Every funnel pattern you notice, every industry-specific insight you develop — document it and feed it back. You are not just delivering on accounts. You are building the playbook that makes the next engagement faster.
WHO THIS IS FOR
1–2 years at a consulting firm, Big 4, or in a high-accountability strategy or operations role. You have delivered real work and you can point to it.
You are comfortable in a spreadsheet and a dashboard. You can look at funnel data and know when a number is telling you something important.
You move fast across unfamiliar contexts. A new industry does not slow you down for long. You ask the right questions and form a view quickly.
You are already using AI tools in your work — not experimenting with them. You see AI as something that raises your output ceiling, not a novelty to explore later.
You find the gap between recommendation and implementation frustrating. You want to be in the room when the thing you designed actually runs.
