Impact In This Role

In your role as an HR Generalist, you will support the North America support team to define and execute HR strategies that enable the accomplishment of business objectives. Working closely with the Head of Operations, North America Support you will be responsible for supporting the administration of strategies, programs, policies, and processes as well as employee engagement, performance management, and onboarding. The ideal individual will be an experienced people advocate with a culture-driven mindset.

This role will report both to the Sr. Director of People Operations and Head of Operations, North America Support and is expected to work during US business hours.

What You’ll Be Doing

  • Manage and execute the onboarding, off-boarding, leaves of absence, and time off processes, including system changes and paperwork.
  • Assist in talent acquisition and recruitment processes
  • Collaborate with site leadership to implement and manage activities that help reinforce the Fictiv culture and core behaviors we expect for each Fictiv employee to exhibit.
  • Provide support to employees and managers in the handling of all human resource related activities which may include: employee relations, fielding employee questions or concerns, communication and the interpretation of policies and procedures
  • Prepare internal employee communications regarding compensation, benefits, and other change management initiatives
  • Establish and manage key organizational relationships, understanding the business as a trusted advisor on all levels. Proactively offer solutions regarding organizational and people-related strategy and execution with insightful data to guide decision-making
  • Enhance job satisfaction by resolving issues promptly, 1:1s, conducting employee surveys and organizing team building activities
  • Contribute to defining and delivering training programs
  • Maintain and update employee data in the HRIS (ADP/KEKA) system and in employee files.
  • Support in the administration of company sponsored benefits
  • Maintain employee handbook and suggest new procedures and policies to continually improve the efficiency of the organization to improve the employee experience.
  • Partner with the regional HR team to ensure legal compliance of HR regulations and applicable employment laws, and update policies and/or procedures as required.
  • Collects and analyzes HR data, and then makes recommendations to management
  • Keep up to date with the latest HR trends and best practices.
  • Support the day to day management of facilities/office management as needed
  • Participate in the identification and implementation of continuous improvement initiatives

Desired Traits

  • A Bachelor’s Degree in a related field preferred
  • 5-7 years of experience in a similar position within human resources
  • Experience hiring and managing a team in night shift preferred
  • Experienced people advocate with a culture-driven mindset.
  • Good understanding of cultural norms within India and the United States.
  • Knowledge of local India labor laws
  • Proficient in English
  • Excellent verbal, written communication and people skills
  • Ability to adapt and learn systems quickly
  • Ability and willingness to work night shift hours (i.e. US Business Hours) each day
