Technical Product Manager (Platform Engineering)
Filigran
Technical Product Manager (Platform Engineering)
The position
Job description
🌀 The Company
Filigran, founded in October 2022, stands out in the cybertech ecosystem for its commitment to revolutionizing cyber threat management with a proactive approach. Its mission is to develop innovative open-source solutions designed to anticipate cyber threats, identify security gaps, and strengthen organizational security posture.
Filigran solutions are now trusted by over 6,000 public and private organizations worldwide.
The Role
Filigran is looking for a Technical Product Manager for its "XTM Cloud". This is a cross-functional role at the heart of how we deliver — sitting between platform Engineers, the Product team, and Filigran Leadership.
You will own the definition & vision of the Filigran "XTM cloud" product and will make sure, with the Director of Platform engineering, its delivery is steady, well-structured, tracked, unblocked, and communicated. You are not a gatekeeper or a status reporter — you are an active force multiplier who helps engineers stay focused on what matters and keep the product vision in mind, and helps leadership stay grounded in reality.
You report directly to the VP of Product and work in close partnership with the VP & Director of Platform Engineering.
The Product You'll Support
"XTM Cloud" regroups all the infrastructure, deployment artifacts and tooling allowing Filigran to support, deploy and manage easily and efficiently the XTM Suite in any environment our customers may have. its main components are:
Filigran Cloud
Our bare-metal Kubernetes platform, the backbone of Filigran's SaaS offering. Covers provisioning, capacity planning, the full observability/monitoring/alerting stack, incident management, and SLA ownership.
XTM Suite Deployment Artifacts
The packaging and distribution layer for self-hosted customers. Includes Helm charts, Docker Compose configurations, and Appliance images for the XTM Suite: OpenCTI, OpenAEV, and OpenGRC.
SaaS Management
The internal tooling and automation that runs Filigran's SaaS operations — tenant lifecycle management, provisioning, upgrades, configuration, and operational efficiency at scale.
Your Responsibilities
Delivery & Product Management
Own the delivery structure across all three platform products: epics, milestones, sprints, and priorities
Maintain a clear, up-to-date view of what is in progress, what is blocked, and what is at risk — at all times
Facilitate planning sessions, sprint reviews, and retrospectives with engineers and stakeholders
Track and communicate ETAs, flag risks early, and help the team course-correct when needed
-
Write and maintain product documentation, decision logs, and delivery reports
Coordination & Unblocking
Act as the coordination hub between Platform Engineering and other teams (Product, Software Engineering, Customer Success, Solution Engineering)
Ensure engineers are never waiting on process, context, or approvals
-
Manage cross-team dependencies proactively
Process & Tooling
Apply Filigran Product practices and participate to process improvements (Notion, GIthub Projects, Product AI Agents).
Introduce lightweight, pragmatic processes that fit a fast-moving engineering team — no overhead for overhead's sake
-
Build and maintain dashboards and visibility tools that give the Director and VP a real-time view of delivery health
Communication & Reporting
Produce clear, concise delivery updates for internal stakeholders and leadership
Translate technical progress into business-relevant language when needed
Help prepare roadmap reviews, planning documents, and cross-functional presentations
Who You'll Work With
VP of Product — your direct manager; you are their operational right hand for XTM Cloud
VP of Platform Engineering — strategic partner for roadmap alignment and reporting
Director of Platform Engineering — your operational partner, co-owner of the delivery
Platform Engineers — the team you collaborate with on a daily-basis; your job is to help them do their best work
Software Engineering & Product teams — for cross-team dependency management and alignment
Customer Success & Security — for operational and compliance-related coordination

Required
5+ years of experience as a Technical Product Manager, Engineering Program Manager, or similar role in a software or infrastructure engineering environment OR 5+ years of experience as a SRE/Cloud Engineer/Platform Engineer with a taste for product management and a proven experience in project management within an infrastructure team

Proven experience managing delivery in an agile or product-led environment
Strong written and verbal communication skills — clear, direct, no fluff
Highly organised with a sharp eye for detail and risk
Comfortable with ambiguity; able to bring structure to unclear situations without being prescriptive
Remote-first mindset; based in Europe with a maximum ±2h gap from CET
Fluent in english, French is a plus
Nice to Have
Experience in a SaaS company or open-source software environment
