The Business Applications Specialist will support the administration, maintenance, and enhancement of various business applications. This role involves performing administrative tasks, managing minor development and implementation fixes, and assisting end-users to ensure optimal application performance.

This position is temporary, a replacement for maternity leave.

• Application Support:
• Provide first-line support for business applications, addressing user inquiries and resolving issues promptly to minimize disruption.
• Administration:
• Assist in the configuration, maintenance, and monitoring of business applications to ensure they operate efficiently.
• Development and Implementation:
• Collaborate with senior team members / external vendors to manage small-scale development projects and implement fixes or enhancements as needed.
• Cross-Functional Collaboration:
• Work closely with IT, procurement, and finance teams to understand business requirements and contribute to the development of solutions that meet organizational needs.
• Data Integrity and Reporting - Ensure the accuracy and integrity of the procurement system.

• B.Sc . in information systems/Industrial Engineering.
• 1+ year of experience in business applications admin/implementor.
• Financial and accounting background - Procurement / ERP/NetSuite knowledge - Big Advantage.
• Has initiative, drive, ability to meet deadlines and responsive to urgent issues, is a team player, and performs well under pressure.
• Excellent communication skills, both written and verbal.
• Excellent team player with the highest level of integrity.
• Willing to learn new platforms and technologies.
• Ability to effectively document business and technical designs.
