What You Will Do
The Senior Marketing Manager – South & East Asia is responsible for all aspects of marketing in South and East Asia (Specifically India & SAARC countries, Japan & Greater China region), including directly managing field and channel/alliance programs, campaigns and tactics, but also facilitating the success of globally contributed activities, investments and initiatives.
This hands-on regional leadership role is key to driving marketing activities that support opportunity creation, both in prospect accounts, but equally important customer expansion. This is achieved through direct field marketing and co-marketing with channel/alliance partners, driving lead generating activities into Forescout, but also opportunities identification with partners that supports Deal Registration creation.
What You Will Bring
  • Work with regional sale leadership and global marketing leadership to align regional and global priorities, and build regional marketing plans accordingly.
  • Strategically advise regional Sales Leadership, providing educated and data driven recommendations on strategic initiatives and CMO mandates that will expedite sales success in region and improve marketing maturity.
  • Ownership of the regional marketing plan and all aspects of execution in region, both fields led, partner/alliance led, and supporting globally led activities from the field.
  • Ensure a tight interlock with global marketing organization under CMO and functional marketing leaders to ensure alignment on goals and build operational excellence.
  • Continuous assessment and reviews of ROI metrics to assess regional progress, activity impact, with particular focus on marketing contribution to pipeline metrics.
  • Manage the regional marketing budget by aligning investments to regional sales targets and goals, and review impact on all activities via SFDC/ Tableau/ Adobe Measure reporting.
  • Work with respective global teams to manage end-to-end marketing procurement process and marketing operational-related work (list uploads, campaign creation, creative requests, PO creation etc.).
  • Lead, manage and participate in hosting, facilitating and attending regional events.
  • Be the facilitator in region supporting employee enablement; support global and regional enablement, communicating updates or supporting regional training, ensuring all teams are regularly updated on the Forescout solution, value, differentiators, GTM and sales plays.
Skills Required:
  • 8+ years of experience in the cybersecurity sector.
  • 10+ years of field and channel/alliance marketing experience in the technology sector.
  • Bachelor’s degree or equivalent sales/marketing/technology experience.
  • Seasoned field and channel marketing expert with proven track record in building opportunity pipeline driven from marketing activities (physical and digital) for high growth technology companies.
  • Experience in building out a marketing plan from the ground up (specific to the APJ region).
  • In-depth knowledge of the cybersecurity market, regionally and globally, specific to industry dynamics and key trends.
  • Experience executing integrated lead and demand generation programs comprising events, webinars, email, tele, and digital.
  • Possesses strong analytical skills, particularly SFDC. Comfortable manipulating and using data for decision-making. Marketo experience is a plus.
  • Confident leader with collaborative skills that drive deliverables directly, across internal teams, executive stakeholders, and third parties – including channel ecosystems and technology alliance partners.
  • Makes effective, reliable, and at times, tough decisions quickly based upon analysis, wisdom, experience, and judgment.
  • Marketing’s ambassador in region and reflecting the company’s values at industry speaking engagements, customer visits, analyst meetings, strategic partner events, major suppliers, or executive visits.
  • Worked successfully with teams across different countries and business units, taking into account cultural differences.
  • Depending on the business needs, this role may require up to 40% of travel (APJ region).
  • Goal-oriented mindset with an acute focus on delivering results and developing marketing in the region.
