Ping Identity is looking for a (Lead) Senior Visual Designer / Art Director for our In-House Brand and Creative team.

With this team, you’ll have the opportunity to inspire other marketers to think bigger, dig deeper and grow their creative craft. Together we’ll design work on a wide range of global touch points including Brand, Product Marketing, Demand Generation Campaigns, Events and more. The ideal candidate is proficient from ideation to production, with experience in both creative agencies and in-house brand and marketing teams. You should have at least 4+ years of experience in 360 integrated campaigns (including Video, Social, PR, and Web) showing steady growth from junior production design roles to Sr. Designer / Art Director. Your in-house Brand Design experience should demonstrate stewardship of Brand Design and development of various content types, including blogs, white papers, newsletters, web pages, event spaces, and creative work for Video, Social, PR, and larger campaigns.

Responsibilities:

Creative & Design

  • Collaborate with Brand, Content, and Product Marketing to shape Ping's first impressions and customer journey, and develop design treatments and style guides for multi-channel assets.
  • Participate in strategic brainstorming, campaign development, and creative execution, designing presentations that maintain a strategic thread from concept to execution.

Brand Stewardship

  • Enforce the Ping brand look and feel across all content and channels, refreshing and extending the visual identity through various media.
  • Establish best practices and provide art direction to ensure quality and alignment in content, working with external agencies and freelance designers.
  • Collaborate with marketing partners to design global and localized sales materials, approaching projects with a strategic lens and strong storytelling skills.

Required Skills and Experience:

  • Bachelor’s Degree or higher in Fine Arts, Graphic Design, Digital Media Design, Advertising/Portfolio school or equivalent combination of education and work experience
  • 6+ years of design experience (creative agencies 4+ years / in-house 2+ years), specializing in brand creation and design systems for digital and traditional media.
  • 2+ years of motion design experience demonstrated in your portfolio.
  • Proficiency in Adobe Creative Suite, Figma, Google Slides, and Microsoft PowerPoint, Google Office, Slack, Asana; mid-level proficiency in After Effects.
  • Able to work both independently and collaboratively in remote settings.

Desired Skills and Experience:

  • Understands that the concept behind a visual execution is as important as the design itself. Without the why, there is no what.
  • Possesses strong communication design skills, understanding the synergy between layout, color theory, typography, and information hierarchy.
  • Embraces iterative design processes and welcomes feedback.
  • Adapts easily between projects or different phases of complex projects, even under tight timelines.
  • Experience in Print, Digital, and Motion Design, both in execution and art direction.
  • Experience working on brands in the B2B/SaaS space, or complex multi-product platforms.
  • Experience designing for brand refreshes.
  • Experience working with global, multi-language, and multi-time zone brands and teams.
