Job Description

We seek an experienced and strategic Director of the Deals Desk to lead and enhance our deal management processes. The ideal candidate will possess a strong understanding of deal structuring, pricing strategies, and sales operations. As the Director of Deals Desk, you will work closely with regional sales leaders based out of India, ANZ and APMEA, ensuring the seamless execution of deals.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Lead the regional Deals Desk team in managing the end-to-end deal process, including pricing, approvals, and contract negotiations.

  • Collaborate intensively with regional sales leaders to amplify their efforts and guarantee the seamless execution of high-impact deals.

  • Lead the development of a best-in-class Deals Desk team by implementing rigorous training programs, fostering a culture of continuous improvement, and leveraging innovative tools and methodologies to enhance performance and efficiency.

  • Foster strong relationships with Sales, Billing, Legal, and other departments to streamline deal workflows.

  • Guide deal structuring, pricing models, and contract terms to maximize revenue and margin.

  • Ensure compliance with company policies and regulatory requirements in all deal activities.

  • Mentor and develop the Deals Desk team, promoting a culture of excellence and accountability.

  • We have a proven track record of managing, negotiating, and closing complex deals, driving revenue and margin growth.

  • Strong expertise in pricing strategies, financial analysis, and contract negotiation.

  • Effective leadership and team management skills, with the ability to inspire and motivate teams.

  • Analytical and strategic thinking abilities, with attention to detail and a drive for excellence.

  • Strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to influence and build relationships with stakeholders at all levels.

  • Proficiency in deal management software (e.g., DealHub, Salesforce).

  • Adaptable and able to thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment while managing multiple priorities.

  • Innovative thinking and problem-solving skills, with a track record of implementing successful solutions in deal management processes.

Qualifications

Qualifications:

  • A bachelor’s degree in business, finance, or a related field; an MBA or advanced degree is preferred.

  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in deal desk management or a comparable role, with at least five years in a leadership position.
