Job Description

As our Senior Manager for Enterprise Sales (Southern Europe) , you will be responsible for developing and executing our sales strategy to drive revenue growth and market penetration. You are based ideally in Paris and will lead a high-performing sales team, build strong relationships with key stakeholders, and contribute to Freshworks' business growth. Ideally, you have a proven track record in selling enterprise SaaS solutions, specifically in the areas of ITSM and CX, combined with a can-do, resilient attitude and strong leadership skills.

  • You will report to a General Manager for the South Europe region, being the face of Freshworks in the region

  • Develop and formulate a compelling annual plan, enabling a culture of execution to drive new customer acquisition, expanding existing ones and ensuring high retention rates on existing accounts

  • Build and manage a high-performing sales team, being responsible for performance management

  • Manage four Senior Growth and Expansion team members to date, also participating and driving client and prospect meetings

  • Ongoing mentoring and development of the sales team, including recruiting, hiring and training new reps on the sales process

  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams, including Business Development, Marketing, Solution Engineering, Customer Success and HR, to align sales efforts with company goals

  • Drive and close both strategic/complex deals as well as regular run rate deals

  • Conduct weekly, monthly, and quarterly forecast meetings, business reviews, monitoring of the sales activity of the team, and tracking of results

  • Monitor market trends, competitive landscape, and customer feedback to identify opportunities for product and service enhancements

  • Forecast sales projections, track performance against targets, and provide regular reporting to senior management

  • Act as a role model for the embodiment of the Freshworks CHAT culture and values

  • Act as an external spokesperson and evangelize Freshworks’ vision, values and brand across the board in the Southern European markets, through public events, interviews and published content

Qualifications

  • 3-5+ years of experience in a managerial role.

  • 8+ years of software sales experience.

  • Strong background in selling SaaS solutions, ideally in the CRM domain

  • Strong experience in working with Enterprise Customers

  • Excellent knowledge of the Southern European market and demonstrated success in driving sales growth in the region

  • Exceptional leadership and managerial skills, with the ability to inspire, empower and motivate a sales team, being resilient in moments of change and ambiguity

  • Strong negotiation, communication, and presentation skills

  • Entrepreneurial mindset with the ability to thrive in a dynamic, rapidly evolving organization

  • Fluency in both English and Italian OR Spanish. (business professional)

  • A strong network of executives within the customer/prospect base.
