Job Description

Key Responsibilities

This role will support the design and lead the execution of global and country-specific total rewards programs. The senior manager will also serve as a subject matter expert for compensation in their assigned region.

  1. Support the Global Total Rewards function in driving Freshworks' Total Rewards strategy and philosophy to attract and retain top talent and recognize and reward performance. Critical areas of focus include job levelling, base pay, allowances, shift pay, variable compensation (annual bonuses and commission plans), and equity plans.

  2. Collaborates with and serves as a subject matter expert to HR Business Partners and functional managers on matters about compensation. Provides advice and counsel to HR business partners on promotion planning, job classifications, levelling, and individual compensation decisions.

  3. Lead the execution of global compensation processes, such as annual compensation planning, variable pay plan assignments, recognition programs, and equity administration.

  4. Lead global projects such as job evaluation, TR-related systems implementation, such as a market pricing tool, and other new initiatives as the company continues to grow and expand.

  5. Create policies and procedures for global and regional compensation offerings to ensure fairness, consistency and alignment with statutory requirements.

  6. Support in the preparation of materials for executive reviews and approval.

  7. Support M&A as they relate to total rewards.

  8. Develop effective analytics and metrics to influence program direction and monitor business impact and effectiveness.

  9. Evaluate external labour market conditions, and internal growth projections, and analyze data to drive sound talent compensation decisions.

Qualifications

Qualifications

  • A minimum of 10 years of experience in compensation required

  • Knowledge and experience across the spectrum of broad-based total rewards and a general understanding of broadbased compensation and equity administration

  • Strong financial acumen

  • Prior experience in working in multinational organizations and with virtual teams

  • Senior-level stakeholder management skills balanced with playing a very 'hands-on' approach for day to day work

  • Ability to effectively translate complex information into clear and effective messages

  • Highly collaborative, with ability to partner with multiple stakeholders

  • Expert level of skills with Microsoft Excel
