Job Description

We’re looking for an Employee Communications and Community Manager who can bring our ‘Freshworks Uncomplicates’ spirit to life through clear, creative, and impactful employee communications.

For our Employee Communications and Community Manager, you will uncomplicate by telling our story simply and meaningfully — making strategy clear, culture felt, and every employee empowered to connect, engage, and thrive.
Be a strategic connector
Conceptualise, shape and execute internal communications and engagement programs across India, aligned to the global strategy, reaching over 3500 employees in three regions (Bangalore, Chennai and Hyderabad)
Partner with teams across the business to ensure employees are informed, inspired, and aligned with company priorities, goals and values.
Be a creative communicator
Craft compelling narratives that celebrate our culture, achievements, and people through various channels including our intranet.
Develop communication plans and campaigns that pair creative, well-designed for various company-wide initiatives - making complex messages simple and human.
Be an experience maker
Design and deliver engagement events and programs that bring Freshworks’ values to life — from All Hands and cultural celebrations to CSR and social impact initiatives.
Manage a global communications calendar and ensure programs land with consistency and clarity.
Be a brand champion
Maintain Freshworks’ distinctive voice and tone across all internal channels.
Collaborate with marketing, brand, design to ensure internal storytelling aligns with our global brand identity in creating a global employer brand.
Qualifications
● 10–12 years of experience in corporate, internal, or marketing communications, preferably in a fast-growing global tech organization.
● Proven ability to plan, write, edit, produce and deliver engaging multi-channel content (newsletters, emails, videos, intranet, events).
● Experience in pairing sharp storytelling with creative design-forward internal campaigns that is relatable globally.
● Experience in event planning and employee engagement programs.
● Excellent writing, editing, and project management skills.
● Strong interpersonal and stakeholder management capabilities.
● Ability to handle multiple projects with agility and attention to detail.
● A good understanding of reputation management and internal branding.
● Ability to use design software like Canva is a plus.
● Postgraduate degree in Mass Communication, Journalism, or Advertising preferred.
