Midweight Marketing Designer (Campaigns) - 12 month FTC
3 days per week
We are looking for a midweight marketing designer to join our in-house Brand team.
We’re a small but mighty in-house design team, responsible for how Funding Circle shows up across all internal and external customer touchpoints - from the website to our monthly marketing campaign in email, direct mail, social and display, and our Premiership Rugby sponsorship at stadiums across the country.
We’re looking for a rock star print and digital designer with experience of delivering cross-channel campaigns across email and direct mail to become part of our extended family. This role will suit a pro-active, collaborative designer (ideally with some in-house experience) who is confident using the Adobe Creative Suite (InDesign, Photoshop and Illustrator) and Figma, as well as owning and strategically driving campaign delivery in response to insights and performance.

The role
  • We anticipate this role being 3 days per week (initially 12 month contract with possibility to extend), with two days spent with our friendly and dynamic inhouse team in our office in central London, to enable you to become a real extension of our team
  • Working with our Marketing Campaign Manager and inhouse Creative team to deliver creative concepts and final artwork for impactful response-driving campaigns that promote our financial products to small and medium sized businesses
  • Delivering attention-grabbing, on-brand assets for direct mail and email each month
  • Owning and strategically driving our campaign creative, continually striving to level up our output
  • Collaborating closely with marketing stakeholders, understanding the needs of each channel and bringing creative expertise and best-practice approaches to each campaign
  • Proactively problem solving, identifying and confidently mitigating any risks, issues or control weaknesses that arise in your day-to-day
  • Supporting with ad-hoc design requests, including presentation decks, documents and event collateral
What we’re looking for
  • 3 – 5 years experience in a design role including print and digital
  • Comfortable designing in Figma (familiar with auto-layout and design system features)
  • Basic animation skills (Jitter) a bonus
  • Proven ability to design for performance marketing campaigns including direct mail (print) and email
  • Creative collaborator who is comfortable managing stakeholder feedback and working collaboratively remotely via Slack and video calls, as well as face to face
  • Experience in financial services is a bonus, but not a requirement!
