As the Collections Manager, you will be responsible for the overall
strategic direction and performance of the Collections function. You will manage a key
delinquency collections team while also driving crucial project management initiatives related
to all our products. Your responsibilities will include:
Overseeing multiple teams and Team Managers/Leaders within your remit, providing guidance and support to ensure execution of performance management and coaching to achieve against a broad range of KPIs.
Serving as the formal Project Manager for CRL (and beyond), overseeing key initiatives and ensuring successful delivery.
Managing and owning risk registers and risk tickets, ensuring proactive identification and mitigation of potential issues across all collections products.
Liaising effectively with the Enterprise Risk Management Team, ensuring compliance and alignment with company-wide risk frameworks.
Driving the CRL OKR onto the product roadmap, ensuring Collections requirements and strategic objectives are integrated into product development.
Developing and implementing departmental strategies, policies, and procedures specific to Collections operations.
Managing relationships with external stakeholders (e.g., suppliers) relevant to all collections products.
Leading investor, and other audit walkthroughs, presenting findings and operational processes to both current and prospective investors.
Contributing to Funding Circle’s training and competence framework to ensure individuals are supported and developed to reach their maximum potential.
Providing a quality-orientated, highly borrower-focused service to all internal and external stakeholders which meets all aspects of the Quality Assurance framework.
Providing oversight of complaints in your business area, ensuring Funding Circle is focused on delivering a first contact resolution on all calls and where necessary handle and resolve escalated issues.
Being responsible for managing your team’s capacity to ensure a high level of productivity and performance.
Ensuring that all aspects of regulatory compliance and internal Funding Circle processes are adhered to and excellent customer service is consistently achieved.

Experience in leading a team and managing performance in a collections environment.
Proven ability in delivering strong performance through leadership coaching, mentoring, and always taking ownership for your team's results.
Proficiency in managing risk registers, owning risk tickets, and liaising with Enterprise Risk Management teams.
Track record of driving operational objectives (OKRs) onto product roadmaps.
A motivated and deadline-driven individual with the ability to work under pressure whilst maintaining quality of work.
Able to make and follow through on difficult decisions.
You know your figures and you are quickly able to analyse and interpret KPIs.
Being proactive in refining processes and finding smarter ways to work.
Proven track record of delivering polished presentations to potential investors, external audit, and/or C-suite.
You’re able to proactively identify ways to use Generative AI to streamline your daily tasks and improve your personal productivity
Confident using approved AI tools safely and effectively to enhance your output and find a better way of working
