The role:

We are seeking a Director of Delivery Excellence with proven expertise in driving strategic digital transformation and operational optimization. The director will report directly to the VP of Delivery & Customer Success and will lead all Project Managers and Scrum Masters within the organization, ensuring seamless delivery and execution of transformation initiatives.

What you’ll do:

  • Foster a culture of operational excellence and continuous improvement across all areas of the organization, driving efficiency and high performance.
  • Manage and mentor a team of Project Managers and Scrum Masters, ensuring alignment with the transformation roadmap and delivery of key projects.
  • Analyze key business processes, identify inefficiencies, and lead initiatives to optimize quality, speed, and cost.
  • Professionalize all PMs and bring them to the desired and necessary level of maturity - Project Manager Certification Plan.
  • Put together an Implementation Playbook that serves as a guide on how Delivery should be executed within the organization.
  • Develop important tools such as a "Complexity Estimator" of each project.
  • Create indicators/metrics of productivity, quality and earned value curve for each project.

What you’ll need:

  • Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Project Management, or a related field (Master’s degree preferred).
  • PMP, PgMP, or other relevant project management certification is highly desirable.
  • Minimum of 7 years of experience in program management, with a strong focus on delivery and the banking industry, ideally in core or digital banking.
  • Proven experience managing complex projects and leading project managers with a focus on risk management and KPI tracking.
  • Methodical approach to processes and a strong understanding of banking industry standards, regulations, and market trends.
  • Excellent leadership, communication, and interpersonal skills, with a strong emphasis on team development.
  • Ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously and work effectively in a fast-paced environment.
  • Proficient in project management software and tools.
  • Extensive experience leading digital transformation and operational excellence initiatives, ideally within the financial services or technology sectors.
  • Experience in implementing Agile, Lean, and Six Sigma methodologies.
  • Advanced level of English.
