The role:

The Senior Business Analyst role will play a crucial role in the successful deployment and integration of our Cyberbank solutions (Cyberbank Digital, Cyberbank Core, Cyberbank Konecta) for our clients. This role requires in-depth knowledge of banking processes, particularly in Deposits and/or Lending, and a proven ability to collaborate with customers in an agile environment. This role will play a pivotal role in defining and documenting product requirements, creating customer journeys, and ensuring the delivery of high-quality solutions that align with our customers' needs.

What you’ll do:

  • Collaborate with clients and cross-functional teams to understand business objectives, processes, and requirements while facilitating workshops and brainstorming sessions
  • Analyze gaps between product definitions and U.S. market needs, designing solutions aligned with out-of-the-box Cyberbank Digital and Core functionality to reduce customization
  • Lead the Functional Gap Analysis Process, supporting the understanding of business-technology alignment interdependencies, highlighting dependencies and integrations, and participating as an SME in client engagements
  • Act as an SME on financial institutions, banking processes, and Cyberbank products, providing advice and streamlining business processes using Lean principles
  • Serve as a trusted advisor for stakeholders and Product Owners, assisting with backlog prioritization, process optimization, and system thinking
  • Document requirements, user stories, and acceptance criteria while managing and updating the product backlog to align with client objectives and market needs
  • Mentor cross-functional teams on banking products and processes to enhance their ability to deliver value for end customers.
  • Partner with development, QA, and UX teams to deliver solutions aligned with product roadmaps, supporting UAT efforts and addressing identified issues
  • Manage and prioritize functionality backlogs for inclusion in Cyberbank product assets based on project and market needs
  • Stay updated on industry trends and validate change management processes to ensure regulatory compliance in the U.S. market
  • Utilize tools like Jira and Confluence for documentation, tracking, and collaboration while contributing to risk identification and mitigation strategies

Skills:

  • Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Systems, Business Administration, or related field. Master's degree preferred
  • 7+ years of experience as a Business Analyst / Business System Analyst on software development projects for financial institutions including front and/or back-end solutions
  • Written and verbal competency in English is required (Spanish or Portuguese is a plus)
  • Strong problem-solving skills with autonomy and adaptability
  • Knowledge of technology trends in banking and other leading industries
  • Proven experience working in Agile/Scrum environments and familiarity with Agile methodologies
  • Strong communication skills to articulate complex problems and solutions effectively
  • Experience working in cross-functional teams
  • Proficiency in Jira and Confluence tools
  • Solid understanding of banking and/or fintech concepts, with a focus on the U.S. market
  • Flexibility to travel
Compensation and Benefits
The base pay range for this role is listed below. Final base pay offer will be determined based on individual factors such as the candidate’s experience, skills, and location.
