About the Role
As a Video Editor, you will be responsible for transforming raw footage into engaging, high-quality video content that aligns with the brand’s objectives and visual identity. You will collaborate closely with the Creative Team to edit videos, create motion graphics, optimize content for various digital platforms, and ensure every piece of content delivers a compelling story and strong audience engagement.
What We’re Looking For
- Experience: Minimum of 1–3 years of experience as a Video Editor (experience in creative agencies, digital media, or FMCG brands is a major plus). Talented fresh graduates with a strong portfolio are welcome to apply.
- Software Proficiency: Highly proficient in Adobe Premiere Pro and/or Final Cut Pro.
- Additional Software: Proficient in Adobe After Effects (for motion graphics, animation, text treatments, and visual effects) and CapCut Desktop (for fast-turnaround social media content execution).
- Motion Design Skills: Strong understanding of motion graphics principles, including animation timing, transitions, kinetic typography, logo animation, and visual storytelling to enhance video performance and audience engagement.
- Technical Knowledge: Deep understanding of digital video specifications (resolutions, aspect ratios such as 9:16, 1:1, and 16:9, bitrates, and codec compression) for cross-platform optimization.
- Time Management: Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced startup environment under tight deadlines.
- Visual Sharpness: A keen eye for detail, pacing, visual aesthetics, color harmony, audio-video synchronization, and motion consistency.
- Communication & Adaptability: Open to constructive feedback from the Creative Director and able to execute revisions efficiently.
What You Will Do
- Handle the end-to-end video editing process, including cutting, color grading, audio mixing/leveling, transitions, sound design, and visual enhancements.
- Create and integrate motion graphics, kinetic typography, animated assets, logo animations, and basic visual effects (VFX) to elevate storytelling and content performance.
- Develop engaging motion design elements for digital campaigns, social media content, advertisements, and brand communication materials.
- Repurpose master footage into various creative formats tailored to specific audiences across multiple digital touchpoints.
- Work closely with the Creative Director to align on visual vision and ensure the video tone and style strictly adhere to brand guidelines.
- Collaborate with the Marketing & Creative Team during brainstorming sessions, storyboard reviews, and concept development.
- Assist the production team on set (when necessary) to ensure captured footage meets post-production and motion graphics requirements.
- Manage, organize, and archive all digital assets (raw footage, project files, audio, graphics, and motion design assets) systematically in local and cloud storage.
- Stay up to date with the latest video editing techniques, motion design trends, viral effects, popular audio tracks, and social media platform algorithms, especially on TikTok and Instagram.
