About the role

We are looking for an outstanding Learning & Leadership Consultant for a 15-month Fixed Term Contract in Edinburgh, Glasgow, or London. This is an outstanding opportunity to craft and influence our leadership and learning strategies, driving performance and development across our teams. You will be integral in crafting a dynamic learning environment that supports our overall strategy and contributes to our world-class standards.

Key responsibilities

  • Build high-trust relationships with leaders and people partners to identify skills, leadership, and performance needs.
  • Translate our global learning and leadership strategy into compelling, division-specific plans, balancing domain requirements with One Skyscanner objectives.
  • Craft and deliver learning and leadership solutions that meet business needs and overall strategy.
  • Lead a specialist area in the Learning & Leadership team to develop tools for talent and business performance.
  • Contribute to wider People team strategies and initiatives company-wide.
  • Improve the capability and performance of the team across all levels.
  • Provide innovative, forward-thinking solutions to complex and ambiguous problems, contributing to Skyscanner's overall success.
  • Stay current with industry trends and innovative learning practices, recommending appropriate actions to integrate new technologies into our Learning strategy.
  • Bring energy, passion, and drive to build a dynamic learning environment for all staff.
  • Select and manage 3rd party providers, as needed, to support the development and delivery of learning programs and solutions.

What we need from you

  • Proven experience in designing, shaping, and delivering L&L strategies, including leadership and management development, in high-growth, fast paced businesses.
  • Experience in partnering with and mentoring senior managers and colleagues.
  • Thrive in an autonomous, fast-paced working environment, and excel at solving complex problems with high levels of ambiguity.
  • Outstanding project management and organizational skills, with integrity and great follow-through on tasks.
  • Ability to manage multiple ongoing projects to completion and evaluation.
  • Innovative and creative, always seeking ways to optimize our ways of working.
  • Excellent communicator, capable of building relationships and influencing diverse collaborators.
  • Demonstrates a curiosity for learning and a drive to contribute to Skyscanner's success.
  • Outstanding relationship and collaborator management skills, with determination and a team-oriented attitude.
  • Experience in mentoring and consulting with senior leaders is advantageous.
