About Skyscanner

Everyone loves travelling, but planning is not without its challenges ✈️. That's why we've spent 20 years building tools that turn travel-planning chaos into a breeze. Today, around 100 million travellers count on us every month to skip the whole “47 browser tabs open” phase and find flights, cars, and hotels quickly and easily 💻.

Joining Skyscanner means becoming part of a global brand that's striving to become the planet's go-to travel hack accessible for all 🌍.

Our vision? To be the world's number one travel ally. (Ambitious? 💪 Yes, but, hey, that's what got us here).

About the role
(Hybrid)

Lead our global benefits journey: We’re looking for a UK-based benefits leader to own our global benefits strategy and day-to-day ecosystem — from core benefits to flexible offerings — so our people feel supported at every stage of their journey with us. You’ll partner across Reward, People Ops, Payroll, Finance and Legal, with dedicated support for reporting/admin and a separate team owning equity. You’ll also be the driving force behind our benefits technology roadmap and vendor landscape.

What you’ll be doing

  • Setting the global benefits strategy: Define, evolve and communicate a clear, multi-year plan aligned with Skyscanner’s Reward and business goals.

  • Owning core & flex benefits: Curate and manage a competitive, scalable portfolio (health, retirement, leave, wellbeing, perks) with a flexible benefits structure that lands well in each market.

  • Implementing benefits tech at scale: Lead selection, rollout and optimisation of a global benefits platform, ensuring slick employee experience and robust data flows.

  • Steering annual cycles & change: Run renewals, open enrolments and in-year changes across multiple jurisdictions — planning like a pro, landing comms with clarity, and keeping stakeholders in the loop.

  • Mastering vendor management: Own broker and third-party relationships, negotiate commercials, set SLAs, and run QBRs that drive service, savings and smiles.

  • Making decisions with data: Build ROI cases, benchmark market position, track utilisation and outcomes, and turn insights into smart tweaks and strategic leaps.

  • Keeping us compliant, globally: Stay on top of local legislation, governance and risk — partnering with Legal to make sure our programmes are compliant, consistent and well-documented.

About you

  • Global benefits pro: You’ve implemented and managed benefits across multiple countries and know how to balance global consistency with local brilliance.

  • Tech implementer: You’ve led the deployment of a benefits platform and integrated it with HRIS/payroll.

  • Vendor whisperer: Comfortable running RFPs, negotiating with brokers/providers and holding partners to account on service, cost and innovation.

  • Programme & change leader: Seasoned at orchestrating annual cycles and change programmes — timelines, comms, risk logs and all the trimmings.

  • Compliance-confident: You understand global legislation, can spot where the dragons live, and design controls that keep us safe without slowing us down.

  • Data-driven & commercial: You love benchmarks, trend lines and dashboards; you quantify ROI and use evidence to steer decisions.

  • Strategic yet hands-on: Able to set the long-term direction and roll up sleeves to deliver — influencing senior stakeholders while partnering superbly across Reward, People Ops and Finance.
