Overview:
Gopuff is seeking a seasoned IT Manager to support our platform as we provide a world delivery service. Your primary responsibility will be to lead a team capable of supporting Gopuff’s use of technology and services. You should have a solid technical background combined with customer service experience. A problem-solving attitude with an ability to motivate your team to achieve specific goals are essential skills to perform well in this position.
This fast-paced role involves both project delivery and support. Our facilities and customers are joined through our Meraki network and numerous ISPs. You must support our footprint and be as concerned with the WMS as you will be with our employee laptops. As a cloud native organization you will need to ensure that the multiple SAAS platforms are monitored, secure and priced correctly.
Your actions will matter. Good work will improve our customers' lives by giving them back precious time in their day. Poor delivery wastes our customers valuable time and makes our operations team struggle.
This position reports to the Senior Director of IT and Cloud Eng.
You Will:
- Support our internal stakeholders while driving excellence in execution
- Talking to stakeholders and users to determine the nature of any problems they encounter
- Plan, Purchase, and Manage information technology and computer systems
- Grow our team through recruiting, training and mentoring
- Protect our corporate data through security and backups
- Audit systems and assess their outcomes
- Preserve assets, information security and control structures
- Maintain records of software licenses
- Manage the help desk team manager, and evaluate performance
- Ensure customer service is timely and accurate on a daily basis
- Contribute to improving customer support by actively responding to queries and handling complaints
- Establish best practices through the entire technical support process
- Follow up with internal customers to identify areas of improvement
- Provide customer feedback to the appropriate internal teams, like product developers
- Follow Gopuff’s technology delivery practices, standards, project management disciplines.
You Have:
- 5-8 years of management experience in an enterprise or mid sized IT organization
- Excellent written and verbal communications skills
- Experience with Incident Management Tools (eg. Jira, Service-Now, Freshservice)
- Understanding of ITIL and when to apply it
- Understanding of Endpoint Configuration Management Concepts (Intune, JAMF, Kandji)
- Knowledge of LAN/WAN, cisco meraki preferred
- Ability to manage personnel and grow their careers
- Understanding of software development principles and development lifecycle.
- Experience with Identity Management Concepts (Okta, Gsuite, Azure Active Directory)
- Familiarity with Cloud Environments (eg. Azure, AWS, GCP)
Compensation
- Gopuff pays employees based on market pricing and pay may vary depending on your location. The salary range below reflects what we’d reasonably expect to pay candidates. A candidate’s starting pay will be determined based on job-related skills, experience, qualifications, work location, and market conditions. These ranges may be modified in the future. - Salary range: $145,000 - $165,000
