About the Team: Join a small, dynamic finance team, in a fast-growing and strategically evolving company. You'll work in a collaborative and energetic environment, taking on diverse responsibilities that combine strategic vision with operational execution. Your role will be critical in structuring financial processes and supporting strategic decisions in a stimulating context.

Key Responsibilities:

• Financial Analysis and Controlling

  • Prepare and analyze monthly financial reports (P&L, Balance Sheet, Cash Flow) to identify variances and recommend corrective actions

  • Lead the annual budgeting process and rolling forecasts in collaboration with operational teams

  • Develop dashboards and KPI tracking tools to drive informed decision-making

• Operational Management

  • Oversee and verify day-to-day expenses and payroll processes in coordination with HR and finance tools

  • Manage client and supplier invoices, ensuring optimal debt collection strategies

  • Negotiate with suppliers to optimize costs and maintain positive relationships

• Accounting and Administration

  • Contribute to monthly financial closings by accounting for provisions, depreciation, and other journal entries

  • Act as the primary contact for accountants, auditors, and legal advisors

  • Ensure the quality and compliance of accounting data for internal and external audits

• Treasury and Financing

  • Monitor and optimize cash flow and financial transactions

  • Prepare documentation for financing operations (equity, loans, grants) and manage related processes (data rooms, etc.)

• Process Improvement

  • Identify and implement initiatives to automate reporting and streamline financial processes

  • Provide innovative solutions to simplify and secure financial operations

Requirements:

• Experience:

  • At least 4 years of experience, ideally in a startup, SME, or a consulting/audit firm (e.g., Big 4)

• Technical Skills:

  • Advanced proficiency in Excel and financial tools

  • Solid knowledge of accounting and treasury management

• Language:

  • Fluent English is mandatory

• Personal Qualities:

  • Autonomous, detail-oriented, and proactive

  • Analytical mindset with the ability to move seamlessly between strategy and execution

  • Excellent interpersonal skills to work with diverse stakeholders (internal and external)

  • Team player with the ability to collaborate effectively across departments

  • Proactive and results-oriented attitude and a strong level of curiosity

  • Demonstrated ability to thrive in a fast-paced start-up environment

Location:

• H's teams are distributed throughout France, the UK, and the US

• This role has the potential to be fully remote or hybrid for candidates based in cities where we have an office - currently Paris and London

• The final decision for this will lie with the hiring manager for each individual role
