To ensure that they find this exceptional talent, Airbnb is currently expanding its Foundation Recruiting team. We are seeking an experienced, adaptable Senior Recruiter to oversee various searches across APAC and based on business demands pivot to support other regions such as EMEA. As a Senior Recruiter, your main responsibility will be to successfully bring searches to fruition, all while delivering exceptional experiences for both candidates and hiring managers.

You will serve as a strategic talent advisor to our hiring teams, providing guidance and expertise. It is crucial that you have a thorough understanding of our target markets and are well-informed about the talent pool, interview best practices, assessment criteria, and competitive landscape. Effective communication and influencing skills, as well as sound professional judgment, are essential for success in this role. This is a fast-paced and ever-changing environment, so we are seeking someone who thrives in ambiguity, is adaptable, and has a solutions-oriented mindset. A Typical Day:

    • Manage and drive a full-cycle recruitment process including sourcing, screening, interview, feedback and offers for all levels of candidates from entry to senior level.
    • Conduct market research and mapping to identify top talent that aligns with Airbnb's current and future needs.
    • Develop and implement engagement strategies to build relationships with potential candidates
    • Build pipeline for multiple requisitions across foundation teams and geographies, consider diversity and the importance of balanced candidate slates.
    • Drive inclusion through building diverse pipelines at top of the funnel.
    • Influence business leaders and educate hiring managers on process, interview best practices, and decision making.
    • Maintain data integrity, proactively sharing data-centric updates with internal stakeholders to improve recruiting efficiency and influence hiring decisions.
    • Cultivate and maintain meaningful relationships with the broader recruiting team and cross-functional internal teams such as Talent, Diversity & Belonging, Compensation, and Legal.
    • Champion an exceptional end-to-end candidate experience, ensuring timely and impactful communication throughout the hiring journey.
    • Communicate effectively with business partners and hiring managers, establishing clear timelines, milestones, and expected outcomes.

Your Expertise:

    • 10+ years of recruiting experience, particularly recruiting senior level hires across APAC and EMEA. Ideally, a mix of agency and in-house roles.
    • Proven track record of building trust and credibility with leaders.
    • Strong consulting skills with demonstrated ability to successfully influence stakeholders at all levels.
    • Keen ability to interpret business challenges and recommend best practices based on historical insight and market trends.
    • Exceptional communication skills and professional judgment.
    • Ability to cut through complexity and deliver results, particularly under ever-changing circumstances.
    • Excitement to balance autonomous, proactive efforts with collaborative, team-minded workstreams.
    • Experience in solving complex hiring challenges independently.
    • Demonstrates a positive, can do attitude. Receives feedback well and looks to constantly improve and grow.
