Set up in 2017 in Gurgaon, Airbnb Capability Center was established to service the global Airbnb community. We are a fast-growing, up-and-coming office and home to the most hospitable people you will ever meet! Our small and extremely capable team of Gurgaon-based colleagues strive to make the impossible happen for our inbound and outbound travelers within this big and diverse market. ACC is providing varied services under Community Support thereby providing world-class customer experience to our customers. Besides this, ACC is also building deep capabilities for different verticals like GSS, Finance Technology Group, Finance Shared Services, Analytics etc.

The Difference You Will Make:

As a Host Engagement Operations Manager, you will drive the operations strategy of the Host Engagement vertical and lead a team of operations specialists.

A Typical Day:

  • Lead, manage and mentor a team of capable operations specialists
  • Plan and execute global host outreach and engagement programs to drive specific product and business objectives
  • Collaborate with global stakeholders across multiple teams to understand campaign objectives, synthesize and operationalize the campaign design
  • Identify and manage points of failure and solve for them in the campaign’s program design
  • Be responsible for resource and capacity planning across multiple concurrent projects and move with agility to deliver on key priorities
  • Set up a strong reporting framework with metrics mapped for each existing and new campaign
  • Manage the team’s performance and deliver on defined goals and metrics, maintain high quality standards
  • Find areas of continuous improvements and craft/ operationalize programs to address the same

Your Expertise:

  • Senior leader with 10+ years of related work experience, particularly in Program Management, Strategy or Operations roles and 4+ years in People Management
  • 3+ years experience in engaging/ managing relations proactively with different user groups in a network organization (like Airbnb) or managing external client engagements
  • Track record of leading large scale, high impact, cross-functional efforts and drive projects from ideation to strategy and implementation
  • Experience with leading plan development from beginning to end with little oversight; must be able to think holistically but also ensure the details are addressed
  • Highly developed analytical and verbal/written communication skills
  • Demonstrated ability to manage multiple work streams and deliverables in a matrixed organization structure
  • Excellent written and oral communication skills
  • Experience with Excel/Google Sheets a strong must
