About the Role
We are looking for an experienced and impact-driven Country Human Resources Partner - India to lead the people agenda for specific business group (s) in India in a complex, fast-evolving business environment. This is a country HR role responsible for driving operational excellence, ensuring regulatory rigor, enabling HR/ people transformation programs, and delivering exceptional employee experiences at scale.
The role partners closely with senior business leaders in the country and global HR teams, along with additional stakeholders to shape and execute people strategies that support business growth, workforce transformation, and cultural excellence.
Role
Drive Business Results & HR Excellence
- Lead country-level HR strategy and execution, ensuring seamless alignment with business priorities.
- Strengthen HR governance, policies, and processes to ensure full compliance with labor laws, regulatory requirements, audits, and ethical standards.
- Advance labor relations strategy and engagement with key stakeholders to support business continuity, workforce stability, and effective execution.
Enable Innovation & Digital HR
- Simplify, digitize, and automate HR processes to improve efficiency, reduce cycle times, and enhance employee and manager experience.
- Drive adoption of AI-enabled tools and digital capabilities to enable self-service, productivity, and data-driven decision-making across HR operations.
Lead Transformation & Strategic Programs
- Play a pivotal role in mergers, acquisitions, and divestitures by managing employee transitions, onboarding, harmonization of policies and benefits, and cultural integration.
- Ensure successful integration of newly transitioned employee populations across the full employee lifecycle, with strong focus on engagement and retention.
- Lead workforce restructuring and workforce management initiatives, ensuring timely, compliant, and employee-centric execution aligned to global strategy and local regulations.
Strengthen Culture, Leadership & Talent
- Champion a strong culture grounded in leadership accountability and inclusive behaviors, particularly during periods of transformation.
- Advance the country HR operating model through strong partnerships with HR Business Partners, Centers of Excellence, and People Services teams.
- Build and develop HR capability to support talent growth, internal mobility, career planning, and long-term workforce sustainability.
- Support positioning of the organization as an employer of choice in the market through strong people practices and leadership outcomes.

- Senior business leaders and country leadership teams for the BU, People Leader community in BU
- Global and regional HR partners

- Legal, Finance, Tax, Labor Relations, and M&A stakeholders

What you need to bring:
Required Experience & Skills
- 12+ years of progressive country HR experience, in large, matrixed organizations.
- Knowledge in Indian labor laws, compliance, audits, and labor relations.
- Proven experience leading HR transformation, digitization, and large-scale change initiatives.
- Strong track record in M&A integrations, workforce restructuring, and complex employee programs.
- Ability to influence at senior levels and operate as a trusted advisor to business leadership.
