Barcelona, Spain

Building a team starts with valuing the team. We hire the best of the best to ensure you’re working with people you can constantly learn from. You’re trusted to get your work done your way while testing the limits of what’s possible and what’s next. We work hard to provide a culture where everyone feels supported, and our employees feel it—their votes helped us become one of Newsweek's Top 100 Global Most Loved Workplaces in 2023.

We also value sports. Not just because of the big wins and highlight-worthy plays, but because of the lasting impact sports can have: the lifelong lessons in teamwork and dedication; the influence of inspiring mentors; the priceless opportunities to play at the next level. Sports can change lives—that’s what we value.

Our team helps the world see sports differently through products that make it easier to capture video, analyze data, share highlights and do a lot more.

Your Role

As a Human Performance Trainee on our Sports Science team, you’ll be working directly with our users.

You will primarily focus on:

  • Human performance. You’ll monitor internal and external load variables, including the combination of software and hardware solutions that make the WIMU advanced athlete monitoring ecosystem.
  • Troubleshooting. You’ll answer queries through phone calls, emails and chats, ranging from how-to questions to complex product issues involving SPRO, SVIVO or WIMU Cloud.
  • Product knowledge. You’ll showcase your skills as a communicator as you help us support our EMEA region, respond with creative solutions. You will be a key team member for leagues like La Liga 1&2, Ligue 1&2, Bundesliga, Rugby Top 14 and many more.
  • Research. You’ll prepare weekly reports on the market and conduct research projects.

Our clients come to us to enhance their game—you’ll make sure they know how to use our products in the best way possible.

For this role, we're currently considering candidates who live within a commuting distance of our office in Barcelona. But with our flexible work policy, there aren't any current requirements for the number of days you come to the office.

  • Knowledgeable. You have an understanding of sports science being applied in high performance analysis situations, especially where physical conditioning and wearable technologies are required.
  • Analytical. You know when to have a scientific and methodological approach.
  • A problem solver. You love seeing the world through someone else’s eyes in order to find the best feasible solution for them. You’re comfortable running diagnostics to troubleshoot and resolve technical problems.
  • A confident communicator. You know how to best relay solutions with a clear approach and a human touch to ensure issues (no matter the degree of technical complexity) are resolved or escalated.
  • Naturally curious. You discover edge scenarios and are constantly digging in to learn more about features and use cases, especially around data science and data visualization.

  • Flexible. You thrive in a fast-paced, ever-changing environment.
  • Multilingual. You are fluent in English and Spanish, plus another European language (French or German would be really helpful).

Our Role

  • Ask you to make an impact. You're part of the team—that means you'll have real responsibilities. We want to hear what you think and see what you can do.
  • Provide an environment to help you succeed. We've invested in our offices, designing incredible spaces with our employees in mind. But even if you’re taking advantage of the opportunity to work remotely, we’ll provide you the tech you need to do your best work.
  • Develop your career. On top of working alongside some of the best professionals in the business and gaining real-world experience, we’ll give you extra opportunities like lunch-and-learns and access to curated libraries to round out your internship.
  • Support your wellbeing. You’ll have an entire team on your side to give advice and provide answers to your questions, plus more resources like topic-specific Slack channels and employee resource groups. In short, we have you covered.
