Illumio was named the definitive leader in the latest Q3 2020 Forrester WaveTM Zero Trust eXtended Ecosystem Platform Providers. According to Forbes, “Zero trust is the gold-standard security approach, making it easier to secure massive operational shifts like the across-the-board move to work-from-home environments.” Illumio can help the the US government improve its’ cybersecurity mission, and it will be your job to expand those efforts.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Serve as a leader in the Illumio Federal space to drive revenue.

  • Navigate and build a greenfield territory by creating and executing a territory plan that identifies your target accounts and our approach to “landing and expanding.”

  • Develop effective strategies for winning against competition in the federal cybersecurity software market.

  • Identify, engage and build relationships with resellers, system integrators and other partners with whom we can sell.

  • Prospect into these target accounts with the goal of influencing decision-makers to include CIO’s, CTO’s, CISO’s as well Data Center Managers, IT Infrastructure Managers and Cloud Managers/Architects.

  • Accurately forecast the business objectives of your prospects and customers .

  • Effectively communicate the value proposition of Illumio and represent the brand with the highest integrity.

Experience:

  • 7- 15 years of direct Federal Sales experience.

  • Verified and consistent quota surpassing quarters in Federal enterprise software sales

  • Experience selling security and cloud software coupled with an understanding of Zero Trust solutions.

  • Existing relationships with federal agencies and partners.

  • Complete understanding of government contracting and procurement practices.

  • Solid relationships with a number of federal contractors and resellers.

  • A technical sales background in cybersecurity solutions sales.

  • Ability to manage a long sales cycle.

  • Proficiency in Salesforce or equivalent CRM.

  • Understand each agency’s challenges and align mission-critical needs to Illumio solutions.

  • Be responsible for all aspects of the sale from qualification, needs assessment, presentation, contract negotiation and closing.

  • Must be a US Citizen

Bonus Points:

  • Residency in Washington DC and surrounding area preferred.

  • Military Veteran or Military Reservist strongly encouraged to apply.

  • Ability to travel required. Estimated at 25%.

Pay Range:

$ 143,000 USD - $ 171,000 USD

The pay range for this job level is a general guideline only and not a guarantee of compensation or salary. Additional factors considered in extending an offer include (but are not limited to) responsibilities of the job, education, location, experience, knowledge, skills, abilities, as well as internal equity, alignment with market data, or applicable laws.
