Make your impact within a rapidly growing Fintech Company

The Card Payment teams are responsible for building enhanced capabilities for card issuing & processing in the cloud-based Accounts Payables and Accounts Receivables platforms. You’ll be working with peer developers , product managers, designers, architects, and your manager to create new product capabilities to grow and scale card payments for Bill.

Enable customers to pay & get paid using streamlined card payment options from rapid to instant payouts across multiple channels. Our spotless & smart methodologies define solutions for effortless card payment CX. We are looking for a strong , passionate engineer to join us on an exhilarating journey to clock colossal payment volumes, build & ideate towards next-gen capabilities, & invent new revenue streams in the Card Issuing space.

We’d love to chat if you have:

  • 5+ years of front end software development experience
  • BS/MS in Computer Science, or closely related field
  • Expert-level knowledge of React, Angular, TypeScript and CSS
  • Working knowledge of GraphQL and best practices
  • Working knowledge on Webpack, micro frontend architecture
  • Work together with design team to manage the project specifications in terms of UI design
  • Ability to work as feature lead with junior developers in building complex software solutions
  • Be able to guide and mentor junior members of the team based on your strong technical expertise
  • Proven ability to take the product through all stages of development from concept to launch
  • Expertise with all aspects of SDLC including code reviews, unit testing, automation testing and CI/CD
  • Experience with system design
  • Experience working with AWS and Big Data preferred
  • Collaborate closely with product and business teams to drive payment innovation and align technical solutions with business goals.
  • Take ownership of critical payment systems and mentor junior engineers to foster their growth.
  • Advocate for scalability, reliability, security, and engineering best practices within the team.
  • Ability to communicate technical details and trade-offs effectively to stakeholders.
  • Actively participate in team meetings and facilitate technical discussions to drive continuous improvement.

In this role you will:

  • Design and implement UI features using React, Angular and other modern web technologies.
  • Cross team collaboration to create innovative solutions for our customers.
  • Write unit tests and automation tests to ensure higher quality of code and the product.
  • Come up with strategies and solutions to make the product robust, modular, scalable, and performant.
  • Project development using React, TypeScript, Node JS, CSS, HTML and GraphQL
  • Build systems for SPA - webpack, ES6 transpilers, CSS frameworks
  • Apply best practices & patterns for large scale applications in JavaScript
  • Expert level programming knowledge in JavaScript (ES6), including writing cross-browser code, writing testable code
  • Experience implementing and managing monitoring solutions using logs, metrics, and traces to ensure system reliability and performance.
  • Working knowledge on HTTP/HTTPS, interaction with backend API/Services

Nice to have:

  • Experience in Fintech/Payments industry
  • Experience working with test automation frameworks

The estimated salary range for this role is noted below for our San Jose based role. Our ranges for each role and job level are based on a variety of factors including candidate experience, expertise, and geographic location and may vary from the amounts listed above. The role is also eligible for a competitive benefits package that includes: medical, dental, vision, life and disability insurance, 401(k) retirement plan, flexible spending & health savings account, paid holidays, paid time off, and other company benefits.

$145,600$174,700 USD
