Talent/Recruiting Coordinator

The Talent Coordinator is an integral partner in managing recruiting activities and building candidate relationships, while providing candidates with their first impression of Jellyfish. The Talent Coordinator role involves a variety of tasks, including interview scheduling, collaborating with hiring teams, updating Ashby (our Applicant Tracking System (ATS)), creating offer letters, administering background checks, and managing candidate pre-onboarding. Looking for someone that can efficiently navigate last-minute changes, while continuing to deliver an exceptional experience to all internal stakeholders and candidates.

Let’s talk about responsibilities:

  • Serve as the primary contact for candidates, talent partners, and hiring managers regarding process, scheduling, and logistics.

  • Serve as ATS (Ashby) administrator with emphasis on reporting and updating stakeholders on improvements/system changes.

  • Facilitate exceptional partnerships with hiring managers, talent partners, prioritizing timely follow-up and follow-through, exceptional customer service, and high-quality work.

  • Manage pre-hire onboarding administration.

  • Coordinate all background check processes and ensure all required paperwork is accurate and included in personnel records.

  • Drive and participate in ad hoc process improvements and other projects that benefit the broader talent/people team.

Let’s talk about what you need to excel:

  • Minimum of 1 year of work experience as a Recruiting Coordinator in a fast-paced, start-up type atmosphere, or in a similar professional coordination role

  • Proficiency in using an ATS, with preference for experience with Ashby

  • Experience with creating employer branding content

  • Experience with the Google Suite (email, calendar, docs, sheets)

  • Demonstrated excellence in organizational skills, time management, and creativity, performed in dynamic work environment

  • Proven experience providing exceptional candidate/customer experience

  • Excellent verbal communicator with exceptional written communication skills
