Midnight on Mercer is a New York–based production company specializing in film, television, documentary, AI, and international co-productions. Founded as the American branch of filmmaker Jordan Goldnadel’s Paris-based production company, we focus on storytelling that bridges cultures and technologies.
About the Internship:
We are offering a training-focused internship for students or recent graduates interested in creative development and production, to assist with an animated children’s program currently in early development.
This internship is designed to provide participants with hands-on experience and mentorship in the creative and production process—from concept development to early visual planning—under the direct supervision of the company’s CEO.
What You’ll Learn:

• Story and character development for animation.
• Insight into international co-production processes.
• Exposure to AI tools in creative workflows.
• Collaboration in a creative, cross-cultural environment.
  Qualifications / Interests:
• Passion for storytelling and children’s content is essential.
• Familiarity or curiosity about artificial intelligence tools is a plus.
• French language skills or interest in French culture are welcome.
• Strong communication and creative thinking skills.
  Structure & Commitment:
• Flexible part-time or full-time schedule (to be agreed upon).
• Internship duration and goals will be set before start.
• Remote work, with weekly virtual and in person meetings and work/feedback sessions.
  Compensation:
  This is an unpaid educational internship intended to provide learning and training in the field of creative development and production. The internship does not entail regular employee duties and does not guarantee employment at its conclusion. However, if the collaboration proves mutually beneficial and the project advances, future paid opportunities may be considered.
