About the Role

The Senior Analyst, FP&A and Systems is a hands-on role within Corporate FP&A responsible for supporting the final phase of implementation, transition to steady-state operations, and ongoing optimization of the company’s planning & forecasting tool (Pigment).

This role sits at the intersection of FP&A, Systems, and Data, combining ownership of FP&A systems with core FP&A responsibilities, including management reporting, forecasting, and ad-hoc financial analysis. The Senior Analyst partners closely across FP&A, Accounting, People, and Data teams to deliver accurate reporting, scalable planning processes, and increasing automation and AI-enabled workflows.

This role plays a key part in Klaviyo’s finance transformation, helping standardize planning processes, improve data reliability, and enable self-service insights across a rapidly scaling SaaS business.

How You’ll Make a Difference

  • Support go-live readiness and the transition of Pigment into steady-state operations
  • Administer, optimize, and serve as a primary owner of Pigment, supporting budgeting, forecasting, scenario planning, and reporting
  • Partner with BI and Finance Systems to manage integrations, data quality, and reconciliation across financial and operational systems
  • Own and support core FP&A deliverables, including:
    • Monthly management reporting and variance analysis
    • Forecasting cycles (monthly forecast, rolling forecast, budget)
    • Executive, board, and leadership reporting support
    • Ad-hoc financial analysis and business partnership requests
  • Build and maintain scalable planning templates, dashboards, and reporting solutions
  • Identify and automate manual FP&A workflows, reducing spreadsheet dependency and improving efficiency as Klaviyo scales
  • Act as an FP&A AI champion, piloting and scaling AI-enabled use cases such as:
    • Forecast variance explanations and narrative commentary
    • Automated reporting summaries and insights
    • Trend identification and anomaly detection
  • Maintain system documentation, model standards, and planning governance
  • Support user training and enablement as Pigment adoption expands

Who You Are

  • 5+ years of experience in FP&A, FP&A Systems, or Operations roles within a SaaS or technology company
  • Strong grounding in system integrations, data flows, and financial planning processes (forecasting, budgeting, headcount planning, reporting, ad-hoc analysis)
  • Hands-on experience with FP&A planning tools (Pigment preferred; Planful, OneStream, Anaplan, or Adaptive also relevant)
  • Comfortable working with integrated financial and operational data
  • Analytical, detail-oriented, and systems-minded
  • Able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment
  • Curious and proactive about automation and AI in FP&A
  • Clear communicator who can bridge business, systems, and data teams
