Our Payroll department is looking for a French/Dutch speaking Payroll Specialist based in EMEA to help with the process of Payroll in France, Belgium and Swiss. We are therefore looking for someone who enjoys multitasking in a culturally diverse and exciting environment of different countries, customers and products. What you’ll be doing:
- Supervise, manage, and guarantee good administrative management, payroll, and social benefits (health insurance, pension, profit-sharing, restaurant vouchers, etc.),
- Ensure the relationship with our outsourced payroll providers in France and in each country, with a focus on the accuracy and timely receipt of payroll reports;
- Prepare and validate end-of-contract documents,
- Management of sick leave, maternity and paternity leave (registration, monitoring of subrogation periods, pension declarations, reminder for payment of compensation);
- Deal with different types of payroll variables (restaurant vouchers, insurance, transport reimbursement, withholding tax, Stock Options, RSU, Bonus, On-call, overtime, exceptional bonuses, time off, and others)
- Be responsible for the maintenance and preparation of payrolls.
- Coordinate payroll approvals & funding instructions with the Finance team;
- Prepare monthly payroll reconciliations, journal and accrual reports;
- Ensure compliance with statutory regulations and company policies;
- Social and legal monitoring, settings for payroll software updates
- Attend to payroll-specific queries from employees;
- Reply to tax notices, wage orders, unemployment claims, government correspondences, and verification of employment for international entities;
- Support the Finance teams with month-end close and reporting activities;
- Support various internal and external audits ( ex: URSSAF);
- Provide payroll feedback and data when required to support ongoing HR projects;
- Participate in cross-functional Payroll and HR projects;
- Looking for ways to automate and improve payroll processes.
What you need to bring:
- At least a Bac +2/3 level, you have an HR Management/Administration or Accounting background
- Minimum 3 years of experience working in Payroll & or Accounting ;
- Experience in payroll for France, Switzerland ,UK and DACH Region;
- Experience with Silae payroll software and Workday is an advantage
- Experience managing internal and external stakeholders such as other HR functions, employees, and local payroll providers;
- Excellent communication skills in English, and French. Knowing the German language is an asset
- Ability to work effectively as an individual and as a team member;
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment;
- Ability to take ownership of payroll processes;
- Problem solving mindset & positive attitude;
- Excellent organizational skills and ability to multitask;
- A high level of accuracy and attention to detail;
- Strong sense of confidentiality
- You will also need to be versatile, and flexible and adapt quickly to the latest guidelines/changes from Lightspeed
