If you’re keen to join, we’re looking for a Quality Specialist (Permanent Work from home) to join our team in Manila.
As a Quality Specialist in the Information Systems department, you will collaborate with product managers and developers to ensure the continuous improvement of our internal tools and systems. You will be involved in developing new features and supporting our evolving business processes.The ideal candidate for this role has excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with a natural curiosity and keen attention to detail. With the ability and willingness to swiftly learn new technologies, you can focus on deliverables and meet scheduled deadlines.
What you’ll be doing:
- Work as a member of an agile software development team, providing test effort estimates and timely validation of new features and functionality during each development iteration.
- Collaborate with software developers and technical support experts to identify, document, resolve, and test system defects.
- Develop, maintain, and execute manual and automated test cases based on functional and technical requirements.
- Conduct testing on internal tools and systems such as SFDC and NetSuite.
- Contribute to ongoing efforts to refine and improve the company's test methodologies, software development processes, and internal testing tools.
- Advocate for quality throughout the development process.
What you need to bring:
We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:
- Previous experience in functional and integration testing.
- Proven track record of excellent judgment in test planning, issue escalation, and release decisions.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills in English.
- Prior experience with test automation, performance and/or security testing tools (a bonus, but not needed)
- Previous experience with scripting languages and testing REST-like APIs (a bonus, but not needed)
Our hiring process is very straightforward. You’ll undergo a preliminary video screening and the whole process will be conducted at the comfort of your own home, through Zoom or Google Meet. No need to go through Manila's heavy traffic!
