We’re looking for an Implementation Coordinator to join our team in Auckland. Your will be responsible for ensuring a smooth onboarding process for our retailers, enabling them to effectively utilise Lightspeed Payments and fully benefit from our product. As an Implementation Coordinator, you will play a crucial role in training, mentoring, and promoting best practices for our X Series by Lightspeed retail, with the goal of maximising product adoption, enhancing customer retention, and delivering an exceptional overall customer experience.The ideal candidate for this role is solution-orientated, by applying your technical skills and knowledge you are always seeking to identify and improve processes.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Provide support to our retailers throughout the onboarding process for various products, betas, and add-ons, ensuring their successful setup and transactional operations.
  • Collaborate closely with our retailers to understand their specific requirements and configure their workflows for optimal success, offering guidance on best practice workflows.
  • Ensure that every retailer in your cohort is transactional and realise Time to Value.
  • Stay up to date with the product and retail best practices.
  • Identify opportunities to upgrade third-party add-ons and plan necessary upgrades accordingly.
  • Proactively welcome and reach out to customers via phone and email to complete set up application and start using product.
  • Maintain thorough documentation of customer interactions and capture feedback to continually improve our onboarding experience, sharing insights with Product, Sales, and Operations teams.

  • Contributing as part of the wider team to achieve organisational objectives even if this means doing things that aren’t strictly within the scope of your role

What you need to bring:

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

  • Previous experience in a customer success role/technology-related environment; experience in delivering training and professional services is an asset
  • Excellent time management and organisational skills
  • Exceptional communication (verbal and written) and presentation skills
  • Intermediate Google Sheets or MS Excel skills
  • Deep technical knowledge of retail industry and retail commerce tools is a bonus but not needed!
