As part of our Hospitality Sales team, your primary objective will be to drive retention and expansion of your book of business consisting of Lightspeed’s Hospitality customers. As the trusted partner for your customers you will take a collaborative approach to understanding their goals and challenges. You aim to provide consistent value throughout the customer journey, building strong, long-term relationships that make every customer feel valued. Your ultimate goal is to help our customers achieve their desired outcomes, ensuring enduring partnerships and sustained business growth.

What you’ll be doing:

  • Own, manage and drive key customer accounts
  • Build trust, actively listen, and focus on upselling to maximise account growth in every interaction
  • Identify and guide customers through their upgrade path including growth opportunities within, and suggesting additional products/integrations/services to meet client needs
  • Guide customers through upgrading from basic to advanced platforms
  • Demonstrate software solutions, from core POS products to modules and upgrades
  • Drive reactive upselling and monthly recurring revenue expansion through inbound sales

What you need to bring:

We're looking for a candidate who has experience with the following:

  • Hospitality Experience: Your background in hospitality gives you the customer-centric mindset we value.
  • Customer-Focused Sales: A knack for understanding customer needs and providing tailored solutions.
  • Positive Attitude and Resilience: A great attitude and resilience are crucial. You're someone who thrives under pressure and views challenges as opportunities.
  • Communication Skills: Strong communication skills to connect with and understand our clients.
  • Passion for Sales: A genuine interest in pursuing a sales career, with an understanding of the responsibilities and dynamics of a sales role.
