If you’re keen to join, we’re looking for a UX Writer (Content Designer) to join our team in Yerevan, Armenia.
The Team
We are the eCommerce business unit and our goal is to enable merchants to grow their businesses. As Lightspeed grows, we are bringing and integrating the Lightspeed ecosystem including payments, shipping, and other services to help our merchants build the most unique experience for their customers.
What you’ll be doing:
- Write and edit texts for the E-Series product interface.
- Create UX scenarios together with product managers, designers, and developers.
- Find ways to deliver value and solve product problems with text.
- Develop and maintain a culture of writing high-quality text.
❗️You won’t write technical documentation, slogans, and SEO articles.
What you need to bring:
- Several years (1+) of professional experience working with texts: UX writing, editing, media or journalism, technical writing. This is not an entry-level job.
- Excellent knowledge of English (C2) and Russian is a must — to write without a dictionary.
- Familiarity with design tools like Figma.
- Empathy — to understand users' pain points and needs, and present information correctly depending on the context.
- Attention to detail — to notice subtleties in the text and remove anything unnecessary.
- Ability to organize your workflow and keep track of deadlines.
- Ability to build communication within your team and with other departments.
