About the Role

We are seeking a CAD Design Engineer with deep expertise in SolidWorks and a strong background in plastic part design for manufacturing. The right candidate will be passionate about bringing ideas to life and capable of creating production-ready designs.

Key Responsibilities

• Develop 3D CAD models and assemblies in SolidWorks.
• Design and refine plastic parts for injection molding and other manufacturing methods.
• Optimize designs for cost, tooling, and ease of production.
• Work closely with Industrial Designers, Engineers, and vendors to translate concepts into production-ready designs.
• Support prototyping, testing, and iterative design improvements.
• Maintain structured CAD files, BOMs, and technical documentation.

Required Skills & Qualifications

• Expert-level proficiency in SolidWorks.
• Understanding of part assembly and integration.

Preferred Skills

• Experience with toys, consumer products, or other mass-manufactured goods.
• Basic understanding of mold/tool design considerations.
• Working expertise on Surface design.
• Strong knowledge of plastic part design for consumer products.
• Hands-on experience in designing for injection molding.
