About the Team

Miro is currently working on a completely new product - Data Table. It is a standalone database-type product that allows users to structure data and access it from multiple places. This product will expand Miro's role in users' workflows and allow them to stay in Miro longer. In addition to structuring users' content, Data Table will allow data to be presented in multiple formats (views), allowing users to more easily manipulate and view data.

About the Role

Miro is a successful and fast growing company, focused on online collaborations. With millions of customers throughout the globe, there is a demand for a way to organize data inside Miro in a more structured way. Data Table is a solution to this demand and at the moment we are looking for an experienced backend engineer to help us with building it.

What You'll Do

  • Design and implement scalable and high-performing solutions
  • Work on the user-facing Data Tables experience
  • Identify synergies between software components and improve efficiency of development and code maintenance
  • Keep the product vision in mind while working on details
  • Help to build flexible, future-proof solutions
  • Continuously improve our agile development process

What You'll Need

  • 4+ years of development experience. We use Java 17, Kotlin, TypeScript and Spring Framework.
  • Experience in building and designing real-time applications
  • Familiarity with RDBMS (e.g. MySQL, PostgreSQL) and NoSQL databases (e.g. MongoDB, DynamoDB)
  • Ability and openness to learn, fail, reflect and apply learning moving forward
  • Curiosity and strong collaboration skills
